A Perfect Pair: The + My (Fringe Hours)
First off, thank you SO much to everyone who has picked up a copy of The Fringe Hours this week. Amazon dropped the price to just $1.99 and it is closing in on the top 100 of all Kindle books. What the heck?!
Y’all are amazing. Please keep telling your friends and spreading the word. It really, really makes a difference.
Today I wanted to share a bit more about My Fringe Hours, the companion gift book to The Fringe Hours. Since My Fringe Hours release, many have asked me how it differs from The Fringe Hours. If you have wondered the same thing, here’s a comparison.
- Length: The Fringe Hours is a regular book with 50,000 words, while My Fringe Hours is a guided experience, with less than 10,000 words.
- Information: The Fringe Hours includes many stories from other people, while My Fringe Hours is focused on YOUR story.
- Tactics: The Fringe Hours goes deep into the how to make time, while My Fringe Hours focuses on how self-care will allow you to have a more creative and fulfilled life.
- Pictures: The Fringe Hours has no pictures. My Fringe Hours has many illustrations throughout it.
- Design: The Fringe Hours is all words, while My Fringe Hours has an emphasis on design to enrich the experience of the reader and create a very different type of book. People regularly tell me how beautiful it is.
- Size: The Fringe Hours is a traditional trade paperback, while My Fringe Hours is a smaller, 5×7 hardback.
- Kindle: I would absolutely recommend The Fringe Hours for kindle reading, especially since it is just $1.99 this week. You would miss out on a lot buying the Kindle version of My Fringe Hours.
An important note: You do not have to read The Fringe Hours to appreciate and glean a lot from My Fringe Hours. My Fringe Hours totally can stand alone. But, I do think that the two together create an enhanced experience.
The great thing is that this week you have the opportunity to get both books for less than retail of just one of them. First, buy The Fringe Hours on kindle for just $1.99. Then buy the hardcover My Fringe Hours as a companion for roughly $10. You will really enjoy your experience of both of these books!
I hope this helps clear up any confusion and inspires you to pick up one or both books.
