This Week’s Best: Links You’ll Love
I love when bloggers list their favorite reads, products, etc. each week, so I am going to try to do this on a more regular basis this year. I hope you enjoy this week’s curated collection.
Reads from Around the Web
A blessing for the new year: As the first week of the new year comes to an end, this piece from Emily P. Freeman is a must-read.
3 things I’m NOT doing in the new year: We think so much about what we are doing that I loved Tsh’s spin of what she is not doing this year. A great read.
3 ways to be more grateful this year: Kristen has such a beautiful soul. I loved her practical tips on gratitude.
5 reasons marriage doesn’t work anymore: A really fascinating opinion piece — and also really sad. We have to fight for our marriages in ways that previous generations never had to.
Best Free Gift of the Week
Today is the LAST DAY to get my free pampering gift to you. My favorite candle, lip balm, body wash and hand soap + a free limited edition Fringe Hours print ($40 in products!) all as a way to say YOU MATTER.
Head over to ePantry to claim your free gift. Just spend $20 in other products for your home (and save yourself a Target run) and you’ll get the pampering gifts free. It’s an awesome deal ($20 for $60 worth of products – shipping is free) and you’re going to LOVE your ePantry experience.
My Bookshelf
This week, I’m reading the following:
Big Little Lies: This is my bi-monthly book club selection. I’ll be honest, it is taking me WAY longer than I expected. Everyone seems to love this book, but 100 pages in and I am like, meh.
Simply Tuesday: Small-Moment Living in a Fast-Moving World: This book has been on my to-read list for forever. It is the first in my “student of slowness” adventure.
The 52 Lists Project: A Year of Weekly Journaling Inspiration: I wrote my first list this week and I just LOVE this project. A perfect Fringe Hours exercise that totally filled my soul.
Favorite Instagram
This is my favorite Instagram of the week. Elias has been LOVING that he can pick up and carry Ezra. The photo perfectly captures Ezra reaction almost every time. I also love the background with party decorations still present, along with a Santa beard on the coat hook. All are coming down this weekend. Click here to follow me on Instagram.
Have a great weekend!
I loved Big Little Lies! I recall also finding it hard to start, but stick with it, I hope you will be glad you did!
thank you for this epantry deal! just ordered and so excited!!
i always love your book suggestions! thank you!
Your kids are too cute! Ezra’s big baby face smile made me giggle. My oldest just turned 8 and I’m longing for those big baby cheeks right now!!
I’m doing an online book club for simply Tuesday. Just starting though. My main goal this year is to try to take more time for love. Love for myself (The Fringe Hours and My Fringe Hours are in my Mommy Time bucket!) and love for the people that are most important to me, my hubby and my children.
Hi!
I did the Epantry deal and got my order today. Is the card of yours supposed to be in there? Or does it come separate? Did I miss that in the instructions. Just curious! Thanks!
April
It is coming separately! They ran out and my publisher is sending them. You’ll have it soon. 🙂
Thank you!!
