Summer Freebie for Your Kids
Today on Facebook I saw an ad for a kids subscription box service called Surprise Ride. This is one I had never heard of before, so I clicked through because it said new customers could get a free box (just pay shipping).
I decided to try it out and order one for Elias and Adeline and am REALLY excited about it for the following reasons:
- Unlike other kids craft boxes, this one is really a comprehensive experience – it includes two craft activities, a book and even a snack! Others extras are also included each month.
- The founders are sisters – I love family-run businesses – and they were on Shark Tank. (They didn’t get a deal originally, but Kevin O’Leary went back to them a year later and is a partner now.)
- The boxes are geared at ages 6-11, which is perfect for my family (Elias and Adeline are nearly 8 & 5.)
Check out some of their past kits:
When I placed my order, it gave me a referral link and the option to share a free box with friends, so of course I thought of you.
Click here to get a free Surprise Ride for your kids (just pay $5.95 shipping). This seems like a perfect thing to try out for summer vacation and you can’t beat free! Honestly, I have never seen a kids subscription box offer a FREE month as a trial before (Kiwi Crate used to offer free samples, but not a full free crate.)
Bonus: When you sign up for your free crate, you will get a link to share free boxes with your friends and then earn additional boxes for your family. Pretty awesome!
If after receiving your first box, you decide it isn’t a good fit for your family, cancelation is easy (just send an email to their customer service, per their FAQ section.) I can’t wait to receive our box!
Hope you enjoy this fun, frugal summer activity with your kids.
