Christmas Decor Trends at Hobby Lobby

Nothing gets me quite in the holiday sprit like browsing the Christmas decorations at a retail store. The displays are so pretty and all the glitter and metallics make me so giddy. And if Christmas music is playing too? Even better. 🙂

Hobby Lobby is one of my favorite stores for finding beautiful holiday decor.

Well, let’s be honest. Hobby Lobby is one of my favorite stores, period. I love getting lost in their aisles of home good and crafting materials. It is the creative’s dream store. It’s as if the buyers are inside my head. Unfortunately, I don’t have one super close to me, so you can bet when I found myself near one earlier this month I made time to shop.

I got a bit lost in the gorgeous Christmas products that they have available for this season. I took a bunch of photos to share with you, along with some thoughts about the trends I noticed.

Metallics: It was clear from the plethora of products that Hobby Lobby had available that metallics are hot again this holiday season.

Vintage-Inspired: Many of the decorations also had a vintage feel to them. I felt like I was stepping into a Christmas card from 1904. I really gravitate to these kinds of decorations. They feel timeless, innocent and beautiful to me.

Oversized Decor: Hobby Lobby had tons of options for people who want BIG decorations for both inside and outside their homes. I loved these giant NOEL letters and the North Pole mailbox.

Candy cane designs: The happy red and white candy cane color combination was also prominent in many of the products I spotted on the shelves. Aren’t their trees especially adorable? And I wish Ezra was tiny enough for those baby jammies!

Christmas Words & Phrases: I also found many words and phrases ubiquitous with Christmas. I love the joyful message of Christmas!

Jesus: Christmas is all about Jesus and you can bet Hobby Lobby has products celebrating the newborn king. I love that they have a wide array of products with a Christian message.

Don’t all these photos get you excited for Christmas?  I love that not only does Hobby Lobby carry beautiful products, but they are affordable too. I came home with a bunch of decorations! We are decorating early this year because of my surgery and I can’t wait to transform our home.
