  1. We went to Southern Ca great wolf lodge as part of our “staycation” during spring break. I got a great deal booking 60 days out (50% off!) and then joined their email list and was sent coupon code to get an additional $50 off each night. Then, a week before I arrived, I received an email to upgrade to a kid cabin for only $30 more a night. So basically, I paid about $175 per night for their kid cabin when it was originally going for over $400.
We stayed two nights and felt that was perfect. Our kids were 10,7, and 3 year old twins. There was something for everyone there! The food was good, but I expected it to be overpriced. We are used to Disneyland! They are very good with our food allergies as well. We went in with the expectation that we weren’t going to be doing all the extra stuff….we went for the water park. Our kids had a great time.

    1. I’m so glad you had a great time! Like your family, our kids had a great time, too. Thanks for sharing how you saved on the hotel. I have noticed that they send lots of emails with promotions. 🙂

  2. I’ve taken my grandkids to the GWL Williamsburg 4, maybe 5 times. I agree that it’s a pricey outing and the food is not only expensive, but pretty bad. That said, my GK loved going. I brought food to have in the room … breakfast, lunch and snacks. The first trip we ate dinner in the restaurant … expensive and the food wasn’t great. The next couple of trips we left the lodge and ate dinner out.
