  1. Like you, I absolutely 100% loved This is How it Always Is. I have been recommending that book like crazy. I am also going to get The Sisters Chase – your recommendation is so good that I am dying to read that one!!!

  2. Adding your book recommendations to my summer reading list!
Some of my may favorites: I read A Man Called Ove (some reading but mostly audio book). I loved this book!

I also liked What She Knew by Gilly MacMillan. Although the subject matter was difficult.

A friend from high school released her debut novel Camino Beach. So much fun about two friends who set out on a road trip to find their long-lost friend who basically disappeared senior year. They are determined to find her and get her to go to their 20th high school reunion. Great, light-hearted fun.

I read Ariel Levy’s memoir called The Rules Do Not Apply.

    1. (and May was a great month for me too! Got to read a ton! Like you, I love to listen to some books and read others…And for some I do both! And I love the option to check out ebooks and audiobooks digitally from the library, though the wait lists are so long sometimes! And thanks for the BOTM recommendation. This way I can still physically pass along some books to friends too, which I love to do! 🙂

  3. What a great stack! I’m really excited to read The Sisters Chase- it sounds like a winner!! I loved This is How it Always Is & The Unknown Americans too. If you want to read more about those, we have interviews with the authors on my site 🙂 Happy Summer Reading, lady! xo
