  1. So thrilled that you discovered Mike’s Pastry’s, my favorite cannoli ever! I’ve visited Boston multiple times for business & pleasure and have been going to Mike’s forever. Modern Pastry is my husband’s favorite. I’ve also been to the Italian restaurant you went to in the North End which is decadent. I’ve always had wonderful food at any restaurant I’ve visited in the North End. Just a few blocks down Hanover Street is The Daily Catch (Calimari Cafe is on the awning) an incredible hole-in-the-wall that serves mainly Calimari. If you have an opportunity to take your kids, the Children’s Museum, Science Museum & Aquarium are all fabulous. I also love Newbury Street, so much fun! I’m impressed with all you did in such a short time. Also the Museum of Fine Arts, the Isabella Gardner Museum & Fenway Park are classics as well!

  2. Have to admit – we loved stopping by the Cheers bar when we were in Boston several years ago! Picked up a t-shirt for my husband and it is still one of his faves. 😉

  3. Mike’s is the best! Boston is such a beautiful city. Random question, can you share what brand of jeans you wearing with the red stripe shirt?

  4. How fun! My husband and I lived right in back bay for a few years – an amazing city. If you go back I’d love to fill you in on some other fun places to go. Thanks for sharing your fun time!

  5. I love Boston! On our most recent trip (last month for a wedding on th Cape!) I finally got to see a Red Sox game and we did the whale watching tour through the Aquarium and it was fantastic!! While we had what they said was an unusually successful trip (7 different whales, 4 of whom put on a show for 45 minutes it seemed, and included 2 whale species, plus a seal) if you don’t see any whales on your trip, they give you a voucher to come back again.
We were also impressed with the Sam Adams brewery tour, and I’ve been on quite a few!

  6. Planning a girls’ weekend to Boston in the Spring and I remembered that you had written about your trip. Definitely helpful as we plan out what we’d like to see and do so thank you! 🙂
