How to Find Olivia Rodrigo’s Lock in Paris (Montmarte)

If you want to know how to find Olivia Rodrigo’s lock in Paris at Montmarte, I am going to give you the instructions on exactly how to find it. In 2023, Olivia Rodrigo put a lock on a fence in Montmarte, with her bestie Madi. Here is her photo from Instagram.

Our family visited Paris in July 2024, and we were thrilled to find the lock. This was a mission of my 13-year-old daughter who is a big fan of Olivia Ridrigo.

We couldn’t find any videos that explicitly explained where it was, so hopefully this post is helpful.

The locks are located at Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre. To find Olivia Rodrigo’s lock, go up the main steps to the foot of the Basilica, then go right to the stairs to the right as you are looking at the Basilica. You will be looking for a square small rail with an X in it. A square metal garbage can is next to it.

In the second v of locks, you will see a clump of pink locks. In the center of that group is Olivia Rodrigo’s lock. It has rusted some and gotten damaged because so many people have attached locks to it, but it’s there! It has a heart in the top right corner, and that is how you will know it is Olivia Rodrigo’s lock in Paris.
