Best Deal: 50% off Walmart+ Membership
It’s back! Sign up for Walmart+ and get 50% off your membership. This is the best deal that we see all year. This service is like if Amazon Prime and Shipt had a baby – ha! 🙂 Here are some questions I received on Instagram that I hope are helpful for you. Affiliate links used in this post.
Is there an option to tip for delivery?
Yes, definitely tip your driver. I usually do around $10. Tipping is standard for grocery delivery services like Instacart, Shipt, Amazon, etc.
Do I need to sign up through your site directly for you to get the credit?
Yes, please use my link and I will get a small commission. Thank you so much for asking!
How much off of gas do you get with Walmart+?
10 cents per gallon. 14,000 gas stations are included and members have told me it is super simple to activate the savings. I’m excited to use it.
Can you renew at that price?
No, it will renew at the standard $98/year.
I do not have current Paramount+, but have in the past. Will I use my same account?
Yes, you will be able to sync with a past account.
Grocery prices better than Aldi?
Grocery prices vary by market, so I can’t speak to this. The prices of the groceries I have ordered are very competitive. I like that I can also add other essentials to my order that you would normally buy at Walmart, which Aldi can’t provide.
I have Shipt, is it better?
Better is subjective. I will say after signing up for Walmart+, I canceled my Shipt membership because between Amazon and Walmart I can get pretty much everything I need. I do not like that Shipt upcharges on every single item. Walmart+ you pay the same as you would if you went to the store.
Oh, country living… they don’t deliver and neither gas station is within 20 miles. Still worth it?
I think if you shop online it is worth it because it is free shipping, no minimum. I also think that if you would like Paramount+, that is normally $59.99 a year, so that’s basically making one or the other free. 🙂
How do they do with selecting fruit (no bruised fruit)? Do cold items stay cold?
I ordered a ton of produce yesterday and everything was great. My cold items were also cold. It was the exact same as my experiences with Shipt and Amazon.
Do members get extra discounts on groceries ever?
Walmart offers promos on certain items each week. For instance, I got $2 back for ordering two boxes of crackers on my recent order.
What are delivery windows like for grocery orders? Worried about waiting around for delivery.
Windows are going to vary based on usage in your market, of course, but they offer rush options. I did rush this week and got my order in less than 40 minutes!
What is the biggest perk you see with it?
Hard to pick one. I love that Paramount+ is free with it, since it is a service I have historically paid for. That pays for the service. I love free shipping, no minimum and I am happy to save money on groceries by no longer using Shipt which upcharges everything.
Do you have a minimum for delivery?
Yes, free store delivery requires an order of $35. This is what it was with Shipt too, so I think that feels standard to me.
I signed up for Walmart+ with your link, but I had a question about the shipping. Can you explain what the difference is between what is considered “free shipping” no minimum order and yet a shipping requirement of $35?
