Yep. You read that right! Right now, with a combo of deals, you can get 8 audiobooks for $2.97.
Here’s how:
Right now, you can sign up for a free 3-month trial of Amazon Music (which would get you 3 free books).
If you’re not an Audible member or you’ve recently canceled, click here to get your first three months for just $.99/month + a $20 credit (when you sign up through December 1). This means, with this deal you’ll get at least 5 books (1 per month and then however many you purchase using the $20 credit).
You’ll keep all books you purchase on Audible during this three-month period, regardless of if you continue your subscription or not. You just lose access to the Audible Plus library.
With both trials, you’ll get a total of (at least) 8 books for $2.97!
What’s the difference between Amazon Music, Audible and Spotify?
With so many different plans and different benefits to each, it can be hard to know which one is right for you. Take a look at this breakdown:
FAQs about Audiobooks through Amazon Music
Q: Is Audible’s entire catalog included? Or is it just the Audible plus catalog?
A: The entire Audible catalog!
Q: If it is the entire catalog, is Audible Plus included, or is that just for Audible members?
A: All Audible Original audiobooks should be available to listen to on Amazon Music, including those on Audible Plus. However, the Plus benefit of unlimited streaming of the specific “Plus catalog” does not apply.
Q: Unlike an Audible membership, you do not keep your audiobook, right?
A: You do not keep your audiobook but you can choose to keep reading it into the next month if you’re not finished. This is similar to how the Audible free library works without a membership.
Q: Can you only listen to one Audible book a month? What if you don’t like the book? Can you get a new one to list to?
A: Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers can listen to one audiobook at a time. Each month, you can continue to listen to the same title or select a new one. If you have a monthly plan, you can select a new title starting the day your subscription renews. For example, if your subscription renews on the 15th of the month, you will be able to select a new audiobook on the 15th of each subsequent month. With an annual plan, customers can select a new title starting the same date each month of your initial subscription date.
Q: If someone already has Audible, do they get Amazon Music?
A: No, these are separate services. Amazon Music is a perfect all-in-one for someone who listens to music, podcasts, and up to 1 audiobook per month. If customers want more beyond their monthly listen we encourage them to subscribe to an Audible membership or purchase titles a la carte directly from the Audible app.
Q: Should I cancel Audible and just use Amazon Music?
A: Honestly, I think this depends on how much you listen to audiobooks. I listen to a ton of audiobooks, and my kids listen to them, too. So, while having the extra book each month from Amazon Music is a great addition for me, it’s not enough for our family. If you’re the only one in your family who listens to audiobooks and you typically only listen to one book each month, then Amazon Music is probably enough for you.
Note: For Audible Premium Plus, after the 3-month offer period is completed, you’ll automatically be charged $14.95 per month. For Amazon Music, after the 3-month offer period is completed, you’ll automatically be charged $9.99/month for Prime members ($10.99/month for non-Prime members). If you no longer want to continue your subscription after the trial, go into settings and cancel your subscription (Amazon makes it very easy). This will prevent any automatic charges from showing up on your account.
No matter which plans you choose for the long haul, I hope you’ll grab these trials and get more bang for your buck! Don’t forget to sign up for the Amazon Music and Audible trials!
