Alive Wins Again!!
Wa-hoo! I just found out that we won yet another award for the Alive Hospice 30th Anniversary campaign. This award, a Silver Quill, is probably the most prestigious we have won. It is a regional award for the International Association of Business Communicators. The campaign was up against entries in 14 states. Our agency has only ever won this award one other time, and the Alive campaign is the winningest campaign in its 19 year history. Since this campaign was my “baby,” I’m pretty proud. Below is a list of the other awards it has won, as well as a summary of the campaign in case you are interested.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY (for those of you who want to know more)
Lovell Communications Inc. was engaged by Alive Hospice, Inc., to conceptualize and implement a 30th anniversary campaign that would generate publicity and provide an opportunity to educate the public about its services. Lovell’s creation of Angels of Alive Hospice – Friends for Life produced more than 75,000 hits to Alive Hospice’s web site in just four months (an increase of more than 435 percent in December alone). Lovell also secured 65 online, print and television placements reaching a known audience of six million people, not counting the reach of the numerous web placements. In addition, the campaign generated approximately $50,000 in revenue, covering all campaign costs and our fees and produced an unexpected $5,000 for Alive Hospice.
