Happy Easter

Happy Easter friends. I love Easter. Today at church our pastor said something profound to me… today is the day that makes all other days worth living. That is a big and true statement. I can’t imagine a life not knowing Christ and believing what he did for me – and for you – on the cross. Wow. It brings me to my knees.

Today we celebrated with our friends Kristen and Chip, and a few other guests at their sweet home. Kristen and I actually met at a camp when we were 16… and then remet at bible study 6 years later!! Crazy what a small world we live in. She and her husband are such good people, and we had a very nice time.

It was especially great for me because I took a break from fasting AND the detox. While in th moment the food was soooooooo good, I am feeling it now. UGH… my poor stomach. PLUS, I still got a bad headache this afternoon and was forced to take imitrex and sleep it off for a few hours. While my head is doing better, my stomach is not. I hope I am better for work tomorrow.

Tonight I have been baking cookies for bible study on Tuesday, scrapbooking and just having a relaxing evening. Loving life. Grateful for its simplicity at times.
