The Perfect Night

Matthew and I had a perfect Valentines. I left work right at 5:30 and got home at about 5:50 to the house smelling yummy. Matthew cooked an amazing dinner – homemade twice baked potatoes (they were the best I have ever had), tender tenderloin and broccoli – YUM. I made cake and frosting from scratch for dessert.

We then watched Elizabeth (the new one with Cate Blanchett) and snuggled on the couch – no writing for Matthew. We both went to bed at the same time, which never happens. It was the perfect night.
