What Floats My Boat This Week
This is a list of things that are floating my boat, so to speak lately.
Xyron – Since converting to using my Xyron adhesive tools, I am blown away by their superior performance. It is especially great for making mini albums – just cut that paper and run it through the 900 and bam, everything has permanent adhesive on it.
Cosmo Cricket blackboard chipboard albums, shapes and letters – these are so cool. I am in the process of designing a Pink Paislee album using the Ruby blackboard album. Very fun look.
The Creative Family – I read about this book last month on Rachel’s blog, and I pre-ordered it immediately. It arrived in the mail two days ago and I have devoured half of it already. Seriously. If you are a mom and consider yourself even a little creative – get this book. It is amazing.
Windex Antibacterial – Love this new Windex product, which is multi-surface. It smells awesome.
The Kite Runner movie – It just came out on video and is definitely worth renting. I LOVED the book and the movie was very moving as well. Matthew cried. Be prepared that it is more than 60% sub-titled, but this shouldn’t stop you from getting it.
Baby Bargains – I am preparing to start register this weekend, and Baby Bargains has been a great tool for me. Check them out if you want feedback on a huge variety of items.
Scrap Etc. – I am getting all geared up for the Scrap Etc. 2008 Event in two weeks. I haven’t done much of my homework yet, but am planning on tackling that this weekend. It will be a lot of fun going around town and taking pictures for the numerous projects we are going to be designing. I am especially excited to meet Heidi Swapp!
Well, I must get ready for work! What is floating your boat lately? Let me know.
oh I so wish I were coming…so sad. I’ll miss you..NEXT YEAR?
Floating of the boat items:
My husband calling just to say “I Love You”

Eating pancakes for supper w/my boys (husband and son)
Teaching at our local Youth for Chirst Organization in our High School (now that’s exciting)

Dawn
Brushing my teeth in the shower. That floats my boat.
Also, helping and loving on teenagers. Which I will no longer be doing at community. What does that mean for me? Looking for a new job, and that does not float my boat.
