  1. He’s a thinker.
He loves me for who I am.
I can be myself around Him.
He encourages me to become a better Christian.
He has got the THE bluest eyes – whew!
He holds me when I cry.
And the list goes on. . . .

  2. What a sweet tribute to your hubby!!!

I love Daniel because he can make me laugh until I cannot breathe and then he’ll act like, “What? What’s so funny?”

I love Daniel because before I met him I made one of those teeny-bopper lists of “everything I want in a man” and he fulfilled EVERY SINGLE ONE.

I love Daniel because God ordained we would be together and even gave me 7 prophetic confirmations.

I love Daniel because he’s just a giant teddy bear that I love to squeeze.

I love Daniel for the father he is to our girls and for the husband he is to me (can we say shoulder massage?).

And most importantly I love Daniel because he is always encouraging me and never ONCE has made a negative comment about my appearance/body (I put on 50 lbs with my pregnancies).

  3. You made me laugh with the line “I don’t laugh at his jokes and things he writes”

It’s quite a bit like my wife and our situation. She used to fascinate me because she didn’t “LAUGH” at my “jokes” but laughed at me.

It was quite endearing. Still is.

  4. Andy- my best friend and husband for 20 years!!!!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
*He loves others before he loves himself…
*He waited for me to love him even though he loved me first…
*He has big hands and when he hugs me he sweeps me in…he is 6’5 and I am 5’1- get the pic)
*He is very handsome and had blue/gray eyes- I think they glow like a cat
*He gave me 4 beautiful children and has ALWAYS allowed me to still love the daughter I placed for adoption 23 years ago…
*He respects me and shows me everyday…
I love him because Christ first loved me…
Thanks for making me realize just how much I love him.
    Keep up the good work.
    Love Michele_

  5. I popped over to visit your site from Bring the Rain…I enjoy reading your adventures of pregnancy #1! Our oldest will be 18 in a couple of days and in June, I always find myself remembering the waiting!!!

I love my Sean for who he is…we made so much fun of him in middle school but he is such a great guy
!!! I just wish we would have known!
I am a much better person because he is in my life. I find myself so many times calling out to God for our marriage and our home. I learn patience by ‘waiting’ during his procrastination and have somewhat learned to pull him in a bit so we can keep moving forward!
I love to hear him read to our children, although it is no longer Dr. Seuss or Cooper Kids or even Narnia…now it is Pure Desire…praying together for our children to enter adulthood fully pure in God’s eyes.
I love his green eyes, and his wonderful sense of humor. I love his hands…the work they do provides for our family!
I love his generosity – it is more than I could do!!!
Thank you for allowing me to share and ramble!!!

    Oh, and enjoy the waiting!!!

  6. Let me tell you about my man…no my men! First off, my dad is about the best Dad a girl could have hoped for. He taught me to love and not judge by his quiet spirit and example. He said that you cannot judge someone without having walked in their shoes. This is certainly a wisdom that came to make better sense after living life as an adult. He loved me and sacrificed much for our family because he put himself last. He taught me faith in God and selflessness.
My husband, Kelly, has loved me for 34 years and I can trust him completely. He chooses to live a faith legacy that was established in his roots when he was young. He has been an example of caring to not only our children but to so many in our community.
Finally my son, Aaron, has blessed me in so many ways by the way he lives, laughs, and loves. I will not ever forget a time when I was so terribly disappointed and hurt about something. He so sweetly reminded me, “God is still sovereign.” I am praying specifically that God brings to him the Christian woman that will bring a new generation of love and the continuation of a special legacy of Christian faith.
Happy Father’s Day to Matthew! It won’t be long before you too can add another man in your life!
