  1. Hi Jessica,

I’m Joy. 🙂 You don’t know me, but I’ve lurked on your blog for a couple of months.

Hang in there, friend. It will be worth it. Having that sweet baby boy in your arms will be worth every second, I promise!

I was exactly where you are 6 years ago when I had my fourth baby. The pre-e, the mag sulfate, the foley, the pit, the cytotec, the laying on the left side. . . all of it. I know what you’re feeling right now!

But soon it will be over and you’ll have your little Elias. Hang in there. . . he’s coming.

  3. Checking on you again as I have discovered your blog months ago through Angie’s blog. I left a comment at your last update but wanted again to tell you that I heard the same scary words that you heard with the mag. and seizure and I to cried for along time. My problem was my blood pressure and had to keep the mag. even after the baby was born. But everyone turned out healthy so as I look back – it was worth it.
    Hang in there

  19. ok so I don’t know you at all but I saw your blog from the smith’s. (don’t know her either) k. I saw you said you have a migrane from probably lack of sleep or whatever! I had that same stuff and that same horrible migrane. funny thing was is that everytime I complained of something the nurses said it was due to the magnesium so by the end of my stay horrible food or a leg cramp was said to be because of the mag! praying for you and praying that you feel ok after all that stuff is in you! happy baby day

  20. I had my first baby last year so I am feeling your pain! Praying for you in Alabama. It will be over soon and you will have the biggest blessing you could ever imagine to come into your life! Blessings on you, Wendy

  21. Hi Jessica…when I had my first daughter I also had preeclampsia, was induced, and given pitocin and magnesium. The entire night I threw up and had a migraine, which I think was from the mag. I know how you feel right now! I just pray that you are able to dialate and Elias can be born naturally, very soon! I underwent an emergency c-section for fetal heart decels, but it went smoothly and all was fine in the end. Hang in there…can’t wait to see pic of this handsome guy! -Angela in CA
