Get some sweet rest (if you can—when I had my babies I had such an adrenaline rush that I couldn’t calm down). You did good!!!
I had to come and say a quick CONGRATULATIONS as I was snooping after reading “Bring the Rain”. Elias is such a handsome little guy… again, CONGRATULATIONS! It feels a little strange to congratulate a total stranger, yet I am just a mommy that can almost see your smiles (maybe feel your pain too), and know how elated you are. I guess it is a universal experience. Take care of your new little guy, and YOURSELF too!
I read the details over on Angie’s blog, and wanted to say I am SO THRILLED for you guys, and kudos for making it so far without the pain meds (because I know from experience, pitocin is nobody’s friend, UGH brutal).
You both must be over the moon!! Now try and get some rest and just know that we’re all celebrating the arrival of your little Elias Jude!
I so love that he says “hi” in his own littler unique way- a big yawn/smile. He is beautiful! Congratulations. Savor every minute as they grow and change so quickly.
