Hey Jessica! I have been a quiet reader, but HAD to comment on these commercials. In a word, genius! I love the way the Mom says “milky minutes” and shakes her finger at the end. I laugh every time too! So glad I’m not the only one!!!
Okay you two. I’ll start by saying I love your blog. You crack me up. Anywho. I just had to write and tell you that, as a mother of a 1 year old boy, you have to tuck the wee wee. Don’t laugh. This is no joke. When it comes to diapers it does not matter about the name brand. The key to a good diaper change is that the wee wee is pointed down into the diaper. It took me a month of frustration before my sister finally told me this trick. And it worked. No more leaks. Just point it down before you finish and all will be well.
Okay…I have two, but they are not current…the first one was for Little Ceasars pizza quite a while ago, when they were offering “Pizza for a buck” and there is an old couple, like in their 80’s lying on a bed in a sleezy motel room, fully clothed, on top of the covers and the lady reaches over and puts a quarter in and the bed starts shaking and vibrating for a min then it stops and she says, “We should have got a pizza!!!” SO SO FUNNY!!!!! Then the second one if for some mattress commercial where the white cat is asleep on the bed and a spring pops through and send the cat flying straight up through the roof….so so funny!!!!!
Whoops….I forgot about that “tucking” thing with the ‘wee-wee’. That does work and is what one “needs” to do. That’s what I did back in the day as even with cloth diapers everything upwards would get drenched otherwise!
Don’t think I have a favorite commercial…at this time! 🙂
Ok- my fav commercial is the Comcast one with the turtles playing hide and seek. He opens his eyes and says “I can see your butt”. Also- the wee wee tuck thing. It is true. Diapers…go to Costco or Sams Club. We use the kirkland kind from Costco- they are much cheaper and just as good quality wise. We spend not even 30 bucks a month in diapers. As for Brandons sleep issue on our blog- he is doing better. Maybe it was a development thing. We let him cry some of it out.
hi jessica… (this is the first time leaving a comment, or one of few since beginning to read your story)
i love these commercials. i mean, love them… like i love them so much i fall off the couch laughing about the second in the series milk joke. my husband thinks this behavior is ridiculous…
thanks for reaffirming my love for att’s wicked humor on rollover minutes!
Yeah, I thought those were pretty creative commercials too.
Haven’t been watching much TV lately so most of the commercials I’ve seen have been on Hulu. Probably the worst one is the most recent Microsoft “Windows Mojave Experiment” commercial. It was bad enough I wrote a post about it today.
I too am a fan of the AT&T Commercials….. But right now I love the Tide Stick commerical, where the man is at a JOB interview. He has the stain on his shirt and it "talks over him" & it's the only thing the interviewer can seem to pay attention to. "Yah, Yah, Yah…." , you get the picture. It's so bd I've started doing it at home when my husband talks 🙂
I would have to say the Progressive commercial where they are comparing quotes and after seeing the savings the woman says "Hey thats a new pair of shoes" and the rep says "Or a big tricked out name tag". Now that my daughter has a job where she needs a name tag thats how we refer to it!!

I’m with ya on this one, too!
My husband cracks up at the end of the newer one….every time.
Thanks for posting the first, original one. I new I liked it, but I couldn’t remember exactly how it went. Thanks for the reminder.

OK, LOVE these commercials! I know there are others but can’t think of them right now. In the meantime, have you seen this? Pretty much says it all…

OH, and just on the record…wee-wee down ALWAYS!
OH yeah, she’s hilarious! She’s a good actress… I bet she’ll make it to the big times one day! You know, like a Sally Field type of mom.
Anyway, I love Sonic commercials (when they’re all sitting in the car drive-in and talking). I LAUGH so hard.
