Daily December Begins
Well, we were supposed to drive home to Nashville yesterday, but a huge snow storm was projected for our whole path, so we thought it was smarter to wait it out and drive home today. My parents’ house got about 4-5 inches, but some areas not far from them got 8-10 inches! We are leaving around 9 am, so please pray that the roads are mostly clear by then and that we have a safe, and not too terribly long drive (it took us 10 hours to get here last week). It was nice to have an extra day together.
My Nana (the one with alzheimers) had a bad fall on Saturday and had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital. She is still there, as the doctors are evaluating her and trying to figure out what happened. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors. She currently lives alone (my mom and her brothers check on her often), but they are currently trying to get her in a nursing home. Please pray for an opening for her.
Switching gears, today is Dec. 1, so I am excited to begin my Daily December album. Here is today’s picture of Elias and his Papa this morning.
Next week is The Best in Baby Scrapbooking! I have A LOT of work still to do, so I will be busy scrapbooking every night. I am so excited about what I have lined up. It is going to be fabulous.
I pray you all had fabulous Thanksgivings. Let me know about your holiday, if you are doing a Daily December album or just say hello. 🙂
Safe travels!
I will be praying for your Nana!
Be safe! I’m starting my album today, too!
Cute picture. I pray for good weather!
Hope the roads are safe! I’m doing a daily December (my third year to do a Christmas journal). So looking forward to starting it today. 🙂
Lovely photo, thinking of your Nana and want to say hello! x.
Oh my gosh, Elias looks TINY in that snowbank 🙂 I’m glad you waited to travel and hope the roads have been ok for you. Praying for you and your Nana. Am I right that she was recently in the hospital? Keep us posted.
Just read this now, hope you had a safe drive home and that Elias slept some of the way. (??) Great shot of him with his grandpa in the snow! Just wait until next year (although enjoy every moment in between!) when he is walking around in it. My 1 and a half year old LOVED it and kept announcing, “COLD!”
I started my album too and I am really excited! Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful idea.
Now lets get scrap booking!
