  1. No plans for me either….I am not sure I have had any since I had my son….they don’t sleep in so it is hard to make yourself stay up late when you can’t sleep in….crazy cycle.
I have to admit the scrapping sounds fun though! I think I’ll do that! 🙂 Enjoy your New Year! Blessings!

  2. Plans…not really. Just staying home with my family and yelling Happy New Year at midnight after the leap second. Throwing some confetti maybe then straight to bed. Praying for strength to face 2009 with more will power!

  3. Happy New Year!
My kids are planning a New Year Eves Party with their cousins. They have the menu picked out, the games, the prizes for the one who is the last one standing to see the ball drop. Is that cute or what. We have moved into a new house in MD and are just loving being near family.
I wish everyone a wonderful and safe New Year!!!
    Much love and care,
    Michele Stewart
PS I saw you recently went to MD- may I ask what part?

  4. I will be asleep long before midnight if I don’t take a nap!!!

Y’all have a very Happy and Prosperous New Year!

  5. This will be the first time in 13 years that my husband and I have went out. There is a Christian concert at Gaylord Opryland tonight and the best part about it is that it is FREE! We are going to drop off the kids at my mom’s and head to church and then after church we are going to party the night away at Gaylord! If my dh chickens out and wants to do something a little more low key we will go to the movies. LOL! Either way we will have a night away and I am so looking forward to that! Have a blessed new year!

  6. Elias is so adorable!

No big plans for me. DS has bronchitis so I don’t feel comfortable leaving him with anyone!

  7. My family has decided to fondue tonight! We’ve found a bunch of fondue pots and are going to bring in the New Year with cheese and chocolate. Sounds like fun to me. Good thing I’m not into New Years Resolutions or this would kill that one about watching what I eat…

    Have a great New Year!

  8. Adorable pictures! You’re not pathetic, you’re a new mom, a very busy new mom I might add. My dh will be working a night shift tonight so it will be my 14 month old daughter and I celebrating. If she goes to bed early I may try to scrap book or my mom may come over to watch Mama Mia. I might, just might make it until midnight. Happy New Year!!

  9. What adorable pictures! I am sure you hear this all the time, but he is so photogenic! In so many pictures that you post, he looks right at the camera with a big grin.

No big plans for us either. Christmas and the weekend after were so busy, we need a low key night.

    Happy New Year!

  10. I do have to say that I think Elias is possibly the cutest baby I have ever seen. Love that little face and those sweet dimples!

It’s going to be a quiet New Year here. Just hubby and me at home. 🙂

  11. Ok, so if you do a 365 picture thing of Elias, I may as well just put my comments on repeat: "I.LOVE.THAT.BOY" So freaking cute. And that woman was brilliant to make the zipper in the back… she should patent that sweater design. You could market it 🙂

I'll be here (shocking, I know!). My friend's husband plays in a band & they have a standing New Year's gig so that's where my friends will be. I'll probably put in a movie and write thank you notes and finally reply to the emails I got behind on this week.

SO grateful for your friendship this year.

  12. I am going for a few quiet drinks then back for a movie night with popcorn.

Happy new year to you three…I hope 2009 brings even more cute photos! xxx.

  13. I’m like you, once you have a baby, sleep is so important. Who wants to stay up ’til midnight?! I just organized my space to scrapbook and just don’t know where to start! You have inspired me though!
    Happy New Year!

  14. No big plans for tonight, just hanging out with the hubby and the kids. Of course I cannot think of a better way to ring in the New Year!

I am loving that sweater of Elias’. My son had a light blue one and my daughter had a yellow one both handmade by an older lady friend of my mother-in-law. The zipper up the back is awesome!

The new pics are so cute….I like the second one the best!

Hope you and yours have a wonderfully Blessed New Year!

  15. Your baby is just precious!!! He is soooo expressive…he needs to be in commercials or some kind of print ad. I just wanted to drop by and say that I just love your blog and I wish you and your sweet family a very Happy New Year!

  16. Ohh New Year Eve is a big deal here in Dominican Republic, people have a big Christmas eve like dinner and then after midnight you wear fancy dresses and go out partying after that we wait until dawn in the malecon (a boardwalk that overlooks the ocean) and back home to eat leftover 😀
But this year I am just having dinner at the in laws and waiting till the ball drops to go to bed!
    Happy New Year!

  17. We are staying in tonight….watching old movies, no doubt.
I LOVE the photos of your wee one! Adorable!
I think every baby NEEDS a sweater that zips up the back! I had one for every one of mine. Can’t find them now. They were a staple back in my day.
Sheesh! I’m old enough to be your mother….can you tell?

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!

  18. We have 3 kids (13, 8, & 6)…every year we do the same thing…make homemade pizza, pudding parfaits and lots of snacks…we decorate the table and have "fancy" glasses to drink out of…we play lots of games and watch the ball drop on TV…just us…we get invited to other parties, but this is "our" thing…Happy New Year!

  19. Just found your blog…You have a cutie on your hands!!! Happy New Year! Love the 365 day project….I may try it…

  20. I love the word “intentional”. I am with you – it’s important to me to do things on purpose.

And those pics of Elias are some of the cutest ones yet!!! I’m serious – love them!

Have a wonderful New Year and I hope your hubby is healthy again soon! Blessings!

  21. Yeah….Love the sweater..I will print it off to show to my grandma friend at work!! I knew Elias would look great!!! xoxox Nana

  22. I fell asleep! LOL then woke 2 minutes before the ball dropped to kiss my husband and go to bed! WOO, exciting, huh? LOL No we had fun. I have a friend whose g-ma makes those sweaters, they are so stinkin’ cute, I aways wanted one!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I’m starting 365 today! YAY!

  23. NO plans for new years??!!!…pfft, WELCOME TO MOTHERHOOD my Sister!
