Valentines for Our Family
As you can see below, I had great Valentine’s photos of Elias that I wanted to share with our family. I took my favorite one, cropped it to 4×3, had two printed to a sheet and turned them into magnets!
This was so easy thanks to my Xyron 900. You may remember that I also used it to make Elias’ birth announcements. I simply loaded the laminate/magnet cartridge and rolled the pictures through the machine. I then trimmed them down and mailed them out.
The simplest, cutest Valentines ever – in my humble, biased opinion. lol.
Did you make Valentines this year?
Oh – and thanks for all the sweet comments about the photos. They are all straight out of my camera – no editing.

I said it before, and I’ll say it again, he’s going to be a heartbreaker. He is toooo precious!!! :o)
Okay, I think I’ve said it before, but you have the cutest baby ever. And I had myself some very cute babies. But there’s something completely irresistible about your little guy. Thanks for sharing Elias and the great crafting ideas.
Love all the pictures. Makes me wish all mine weren’t too old to stick some feathered wings on and have me a little photo session. They’d not be quite as thrilled as Elias seemed to be. (They roll their eyes when I want to snap a simple candid shot. But I still adore them and they’re still pretty cute too.)
I will consider that my one and only Valentines Day card. He is so cute
Jessica he is so cute. I absolutely adore his wings.
It makes me LOL (for real!) that someday far, far into the future Elias is gonna sooooo hate these pictures.
Adorable Jess! X.
You made the magnets at home? That is seriously cool… and handy. Wow, I learn something new every day 🙂
Jessica, that’s a super cute idea! =) I didn’t really make any valentines this year, but I also don’t have a super cute babe to photograph!
um, i WANT this printer…please tell me where i can find it!
That is the cutest picture I have ever seen! What a cool idea too! I think I will ask for that xyron for Christmas!
These are beautiful pictures! Great inspiration for our little boy too!
Love all the Valentine pics. So adorable!
Dropping a line to say I heard your hubby on Air1 talking about his book “Churched”. When I heard it I thought hey I know him. (which i don’t-just through your blog)
Enjoy your family-Aren’t our God’s blessing grand!
I think all your family and friends are going to love those!
Cupid Elias shot an arrow in my heart and I am in love! What a doll! Seriously he could give the Gerber baby a run for his money! Can’t wait to see what you do for St. Patrick’s Day and Easter!
very cute!! he’s a doll. great idea with the magnets!
Thank you so much for our valentine magnet. I put it on the only thing magnetized in our camper, the stove hood. lol, but it will have a special place on the fridge when we get home. I love it and my sister was stunned, but happy you had sent her one too. love you three, mom
Loving the wings. I’m tucking that idea away for when I have children. I can only hope for ones as adorable as your little guy. Thanks for the smiles across the miles… (all the way to Hawaii!)
Little CUPID! So cute! So photogenic!
I made the sweetest Valentine’s for our family only having spent 50 cents on a spool of ribbon! I used paper leftover from a pregnancy scrapbook I made for my daughter last year. One side had her handprint in pink paint and the other side had a fabulous shot of her giggling in her pink heart dress. They were a hit! I finally realized I can make something way more meaningful than going to the store. And people are more apt to keep it too! Love your photos SO much.
I love your blog, but I have to confess that just reading about all you do – work, blogging, scrapping, photo sessions and thoughtful seasonal gifts – leaves me feeling exhausted. I am a working mom with two boys and even between my husband and I we are often overwhelmed by their high energy level and after we have wrestled them to bed at night we barely have the energy left to watch The Office, let alone do anything else. So, I salute you in all you do! Your blog and scrapbooking is just lovely – I’m amazed at how you maintain it all.
Best wishes in all you do – keep the cute pics coming.
