Get Lucky: Tooth Fairy Kit
If you have been reading this blog for any length of time, you know I am big on recording memories. Elias is just getting his first teeth and I am already thinking about him losing them! 🙂 Thankfully, I have found the PERFECT memory keeping tool for when this happens.
The Office of the Tooth Fairy offers this darling kit including a certificate for when a child loses his first tooth – with room to record all subsequent losses, and a cloth “deposit” bag for all teeth. It is soooooo cute. I also plan to add a photo of Elias with all of his baby teeth and then all of his adult teeth to the back of the certificate. This will be a few years from now, won’t it? 🙂
I have never seen anything like this kit before – just the standard tooth fairy pillows. I LOVE it and I am delighted that have one to give away today. It’s your lucky day! Simply leave a comment with a memory about losing teeth – whether your own or your kids.
The winner will be posted tonight around 9 pm CDT.

I love this idea! I too am all about recording memories. My son is only 2 months old, but this will be the perfect way to capture the “tooth fairy” moments!
This kit looks and sounds adorable!
I remember when I was 5/6 and I lost the first tooth I can remember. I was SO excited about getting £1 (or $1 to you :)) by the tooth fairy. The next morning I didn’t have anything under my pillow!!!! Then all of a sudden my little sister next door starts shouting about how she has found a coin under her pillow! My Mum mistook what daughter’s tooth had fallen out. Safe to say I didn’t believe in the tooth fairy from then on…
Have a very lucky week! X.
This kit sounds like such a great idea!
I remember the pulling and twisting that took place each time a tooth was ready to fall out. I would be so excited to get it out but hesitant to pull so hard because it would hurt.
Hope you have a wonderful week!!
Hey! The kit idea is way cool. Granted with not having kids myself…it would be a great gift to give…
My memory of loosing a tooth….well it’s not my own…but the lil sis vs. the pillow case…..just imaging trying to hold on to a pillow case by biting down on it and someone decides to jerk it out of your mouth….the next is to imagine the front teeth no longer being attatched….
As for me, I still have some of my baby teeth in my “memorabilia” trunk…. crazy isn’t it…
Hope you have a great day!
S.
I love this kit. Being that my daughter just lost her first tooth a month ago, and I have yet to figure out what I’m gonna do, I’d love to win this!! She was soo funny about her first tooth. “Was it going to hurt?” was her biggest concern. But when it came out with no pain, no blood…we were ALL relieved. Now we are awaiting the loss of tooth number 2!
I love this kit!
I remember being around 5 and losing my first tooth the night before my first day at kindegarten. If I remember correctly there were lots of tears shed during the pulling process–ouch!
Thanks,
Rebecca
when my oldest lost his second tooth…it happened at school on a field trip. it had been loose for months. after eating his sandwich, he realized the tooth was gone. he was so worried that 1)he had probably swallowed the tooth and what was going to happen and 2) that he didn’t have the tooth to put under his pillow. he got lucky anyways.
I remember trying to lose my teeth so that I could get the tooth fairy to come. I even tried yanking out a perfectly good tooth around age 5. Luckily I wasn’t successful.
What a cute giveaway! 😉
I can remember growing up how whenever I would have a tooth loose and ready to come out my Dad would take the white hanky out of his pocket and then tug on it a bit. He’d always tell me that on the count of three he’d yank it, but it was always on 2 when he would do it and I would ALWAYS be totally oblivious to it EVERY time! You’d think I would have caught on! LOL! I never really even bothered me since I was waiting for 3 and by then it was out. Love my Dad. 😉 Thanks for the chance, Jessica!
awww. what a great idea!!! My oldest is 6 and already lost 4 teeth. I’ve been taking pictures and keeping them for her! This is a neat idea.
These are so cute! My memory is that I always LOVED losing my teeth. My dad would always help me take them out and the minute they were lose, I would yank and yank until it came out. It hurt but I loved losing them! Weird I know!
-Amy
This is such a great idea. I always kept track of teeth (losing and getting) in my kids babies books, but this looks like much more fun. My kids are pretty good at pulling out their own teeth.
Have a great week!
What a cool kit! My kiddos aren’t old enough to lose them yet…but I certainly remember the dangling teeth and my dad telling me to be brave while he pulled it out! So exciting!
My 6-year old son just entered the tooth losing arena recently. His 1st tooth was pretty loose and got yanked out by his aunt. We over at my in-lawa for dinner and I had just had a new baby. The site of blood and his anxiety and all, made me almost faint. I had to sit down and ask others there to take pictures of the big event! I’d love this kit to be able to document the big event in our life!
I just remember getting one pulled at the dentist when it was hanging by a thread!! I remember being scared!!
My most vivid tooth memory is having my 2nd grade school photos taken with my 2 front teeth missing. My mom also forgot it was picture day and apparently we were running late that day, which equates to very ratty hair, a tank top and missing teeth. It was the same for my twin sister too. We laugh about it now though.
Fun! I don’t remember losing my teeth, unless you count having 4 pulled before braces and then all 4 wisdom teeth removed…yuck! I do remember my mom forgetting to play tooth fairy for my youngest brother once, so we had to improvise. I think we made up some story about the tooth fairy being late cuz it was a busy night so he got it at nap time instead. Hehe! Also, my 8 month old has SIX teeth already!
Oh I love this. My oldest child is almost 5 and has not yet lost any teeth but this will be perfect for him!!! For my memory I can recall my sister tying a string around my loose tooth and attaching the string to the doorknob to pull it out!!!! I should mention that she was my younger sister too! Yes….seriously.
How cute! For my kids, I used zip lock bags and drew the mouth full of teeth diagram, then circled the tooth that was lost and added the date. The kids put that under the pillow. (With 4 kids, that’s lots of zip locks and lots of teeth over the years!)
Most of the baby teeth have been lost around here although the 2 youngest boys still have a couple hanging on.
And Jessica, that few years will have passed before you know it. I love how you are recording all the memories. I wish I had recorded more.
Wow!!! I’m gonna have to get me a few of them, they’re very cute and a heck of a lot better than keeping their teeth hidden in a little jar in my closet!!
This is a really cute kit.
I remember when my neice lost her first tooth she couldn’t do it so she asked me to pull it for her. She was really brave and after that always had me do it for her.
Susan
What a neat idea! My daughter has just started losing her teeth. She lost her second one this weekend! Right now, her teeth are in my jewelry box, until I come up with a better system!
I used to be excited to get a quarter when I lost my teeth. I am sure my son will expect much more than that when he looses his!
I remember loosing my first tooth and then finding it later that day in the garbage when my toy fell in there and I had to get it out. Mom had some explaining to do.
Oh my this would be so great to have.
I think my funny story would be when my daughter lost her first tooth (well both front teeth actually). However, it was so loose we wanted to pull it, and when I say loose I mean she didn’t move her lip for 2 days while talking because it would flip up (I know yuck). She wasn’t having any part of it until like 9:00 at night when we heard “I think I want you to pull it.” Notice I said think because after 2 hrs of screaming crying and her dad and I thinking about breaking out the alcohol (note I don’t drink)…I said this thing is coming out. I had to hold her down while he pulled and when done she so happily said “that wasn’t bad.” OMG
Gotta love it!!!!
cute cute! I’m with ya on recording memories! besides scrapbooking, my blog helps me do just that! For example, we video blogged our move from Oklahoma to California last month and put it online… http://www.linnybest.com/2009/03/our-journey-from-okiehoma-to-cali.html
This kit is wonderful. What a great idea. If I’m not lucky enought to win, I think I’ll puchase one for my 3 year old daughter.
My one memory of losing a tooth is having a very loose one in my mouth that wasn’t quite ready to come out. I must have spent an hour in front of the bathroom mirror wriggling it all around with my tongue before I decided to bite an apple to help it along. That didn’t work either.
Oh my gosh, how CUTE!!!!
When I was younger my family was big into losing teeth, especially my Dad. He made it so much fun. We tied the tooth, with dental floss, to the door knob and shut the door (of course it was never tied tight enough and always came loose – just thinking about the anticipation combined with a happy fear brings a smile to my face even now). Sometimes he would hold us in his lap and tickle our teeth, and us, until very loose. He never actually pulled any teeth and always let them come out on their own time but he always made it memorable. Oh, and the best part? We got a quarter for each tooth, and a little something extra, from the tooth fairy.
I hope to make losing teeth a positive experience for my two one day:)
P.S. Ihave been waiting to see what goodies you are going to showcase – Thanks for making my week!!!
Last week, my 8yo and 6yo (girls) were wrestling. The older one elbowed the younger one in the mouth. Pop! Out came a tooth (it wasn’t even loose). Oops!
Honest to goodness we tried tying a string around my loose tooth and tying the other end to a doorknob and then slamming the door. I was SO freaked out! But the string came off of the tooth and didn’t pull it out. =) Just had to let it come out on its own.
my boy has just gotten his 1st tooth … so that’s exciting around here!
i remember being so stressed with that final tug to release my wobbly tooth …. but it was never that traumatic!! 🙂
My oldest daughter is 7 1/2 years old and she has yet to lose a tooth! She has two that are coming in behind the front bottom teeth. She says she has loose teeth. She is so excited to finally experience this. For me, I will be sad because it is one more thing that will remind me my baby girl is growing up.
Amy M.
I swallowed my first tooth eating spaghetti. I hope that my daughter has better luck with her first tooth!!! Thanks for offering the contest!
Wow – I hadn’t seen anything like this before. Looks really neat. My daughter is only 2, so we are still working on getting them all in!!! Thanks for the chance to win. Kimberly
While I don’t remember actually losing my teeth, I do still have all of them that I ever lost (and I’m 26)! We had a little “treasure chest” thing that I was able to keep all my teeth in, wrapped in little pieces of toilet paper!! This kit would be WAY much better than that!!!

My husband is the official tooth puller in our house. He has used many different methods, dental floss and a door, dental floss and a big toe, fingers, and the list goes on.
Rebecca from Big Island
Have you seen the Baby Tooth Albums? I saw them at CHA in January and they are so cool! Of course I'd love to WIN one of these! My kids are 5 & 6 and several of their friends have lost teeth already. They are soooo excited and constantly ask me if any are loose LOL I'm actually kinda angsty about it! Not only does it mean my babes are growing up, but blood? BLECH!
This is awesome! I remember my sister’s tooth coming loose and she hid behind this dark brown and rust colored curtains my parents had. She wouldn’t come out b/c she was scared they were going to pull it. Well she sat back there messing with it till it fell out. She was soo upset. Mom explained she would get another tooth soon, which made her feel better. It was cute.
I am embarrassed to admit that I used to have nightmares (and sometimes still do!) that my teeth fell out suddenly. And almost every time I had/have that dream, I wake up feeling like my teeth are loose. Is this just me, or does anyone else have this kind of bizarre nightmare too?
This is so cute. My Zoe is almost 3, so we still have a little while to go before she loses any teeth (hopefully). I wonder what the “going rate” for a tooth will be at that time? I used to get dollar coins under my pillow.
I remember how the tooth fairy myth was shattered for me- I found one of those miniature treasure chests the dentists give out full of teeth in my dad’s drawer when I was retrieving a handkerchief for him. Oh well! :o)
Great idea! I have a 5 yr. old that will probably start losing some teeth within the next year or so too;)
I remember eating a crunchy peanut butter sandwich and I kept trying to bite down hard on what I thought was a peanut. . . but in fact was my tooth. . . Ewwww!
I love when my kids lose teeth. The feeling I get when I get to go and put thier surprise under thier pillow at night is un real. I hope my kids always believe in the tooth fairy. Thanks for the great giveaway.
My grandma lived in the cherry capital of the world (Traverse City, Michigan)and had shipped us some cherries. I was sitting on the steps of the shed with my mom and she was teaching me how to spit out the pits. I wasn’t so suave at the age of 5 so I was blowing real hard and the pits were barely popping out of my mouth. I blew really hard and hocked not only the pit but my first tooth too!

PS. I hope this story is good enough to win the kit! It will be perfect for our daughter Lily!
That is so cool! My 3 yr old is a few years away from needing it but I think it’s adorable!
This kit looks so fun! I don’t have any fun stories about losing teeth! I am trying to remember and just can’t!
one of my few memories of my great grandmother (other than that she made the most fabulous creamed corn ever) was that she pulled one of my loose teeth. awesome inter-generational activity, teeth pulling. anyway, i have two young boys, so, i hope i win!
My 2 boys are 2 and almost 7. The older is losing baby teeth left and rightit seems like! His adult teeth are like right there, so you see them as so as the baby ones are pulled.
I remember having that tooth that was loose but just would NOT come out! So my dad tied dental floss around it, and tied the other end to the doorknob. I protested and did NOT want him to do this because I was convinced it was going to hurt. He slammed the door and I started crying because I was convinced I was in a ton of pain and he was so mean to me and how could he do this to his lovely daughter! But the tooth was out and once I realized it I was fascinated and it magically didn’t hurt anymore.
Psst… It never did. Don’t tell him that though! 😉
I would love to win this, I’ve had my eye on it, my son is 4 so it’s coming soon!
This is great! The only tooth story I really remember is sadly finding a container with my first lost tooth in my moms dresser and realizing that my mom was the tooth fairy.
Oh, please enter me!!
My sister pulled out my first tooth by accident – I was five years old, and didn’t even know it was loose! We were fighting over a piece of string or something, and I put it in my mouth and she yanked and out came my tooth. It was slightly traumatizing. My mother was on the phone, and had taught us emphatically not to interrupt her unless it was “blood, flood, or fire”, but I finally got her attention by saying it *was* blood. =) Then I was pleased that I’d lost a tooth and the tooth fairy had come, and stopped being mad at my sister.
Anytime my mom got tired of me pushing my loose tooth back and forth with my tongue, she would give me an apple. “Bite hard into the apple, sweetie,” she’d say, and sure enough – my tooth would usually come out when I pulled the apple away from my mouth!
What a great tooth fairy kit!
I am a scrapbooker too, so, I think this is such a cute idea! I took pictures of my sons first few teeth and then it got a little harder after that to see! I like your idea of the baby set and then the adult set picture though-will have to steal that idea!
So, I can think of two memories…first, when I was little riding my bike, I feel off and lost my first tooth. It was horrible, I had to go to the ER and have them tweeze the little stones out of my gums and lips and then I had fat scabbed lips for months…but I got five whole dollars from the tooth fairy, which was a lot in my family and exactly 5 years later…my tooth did come back in! I thought it was never going to come back!
The second story is that I was always so scared to death to have a tooth fall out or worse, pulled. When it was time for a tooth to come out it just hung there for days. I wouldn’t let anyone touch it b/c it might hurt. It was hanging on a thread as my mother always says. I couldn’t brush my teeth, go to school or eat for days. I was even bribed with apple pie or anything I wanted to eat if I just let them lift it off my lip. Days later, I got dehydrated and almost had to go to the ER for a loose tooth. Finally jell-o still in liquid form I could suck down with a straw and the tooth just fell out on it’s own! A little ridiculous, I know! =)
Sounds really neat!
Shortly before my boys’ (we have twin 6 yr. olds) birthday last year, we were talking about getting older and how their teeth would fall out and be replaced by grown up teeth. The night before the actual day, my one son was crying and when I asked him what was wrong, he told me that he didn’t want to have his birthday because he didn’t want his teeth to fall out. I guess he thought that they would all fall out on the same day! I so love their way of thinking and living life! (And they are almost 7 now and still have to lose any teeth…)
Very cute…. My son is 13 months old and has 6 teeth now… And I have already started to think about him loosing them too… Glad I am not alone.
That is so cute. I would love to win one of those kits from you. I have two bigger kids that are done loosing teeth and two little ones that are still growing in their teeth.
I remember when one of my older sons was a bit younger, his aunt would pull out his loose teeth. Oh it would make cringe, but never even flinched and he would be so excited to get money from the toothfairy.
One time one of the kids lost their tooth, so they left a note for the tooth fairy that he lost it and asked if he could still get money for it. Cute. He did of course get money for it
Have a great day.

My daughter is 5 1/2 and she is so anxious to lose her first tooth! I catch her jiggling them all the time! Too funny! I don’t have a keepsake yet, so this would be perfect! Thanks for the opportunity!
The main thing I remember about my daughter losing teeth is that it really grossed me out! She would show me how she could wiggle it and OH! it made me cringe. She had one that was REALLY loose and I was too afraid to help her. Luckily my Mom came over and gave it a quick little twist and it was out! I have 2 five-year old boys that are dying to start losing their teeth. This kit would really come in handy!! Thanks for the giveaway!!
This is great! Thanks for the fun start to the week : )
I can’t remember losing my first teeth but I remember losing teeth and having the tooth fairy come. I don’t think my mom captured the moment. It would have been nice to have had something like this when we were kids.
Such a cute idea! Jessica I just love reading your blog and being inspired! In my house growing up the going rate for teeth was $1/tooth… one time when I lost two teeth in one day (maybe I was seven or eight) the “tooth fairy” was trying to be creative and give me a $2 bill (this was the late ’80s when $2 bills were still in circulation) well my Dad, excuse me, the “tooth fairy” got confused and instead left me a $20 under my pillow. For weeks I talked about how much I got and I know my Dad still kicks himself to this day!
🙂
My son is 5 years old. Lots of his friends are starting to lose their teeth. One day he asked me why he hasn’t lost any yet. I told him they just weren’t ready. He replied, “because they need to finish packing?” Kids say the funniest things. I would love to have this kit to record his teeth losing memories! Thanks!
What a great idea! Wish we had one for my first grandson but I have a new grandson to capture moments on. So far as celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, I am Scots, Irish, English, German and American Indian and I can celebrate just about anything!
I always played with my loose tooth til it got REALLY loose. I could never pull it out myself. Had to let Dad do it… Dad’s are Supermen after all, right?
love this prize!
This is a great idea! I remember the very first tooth that I lost was at Christmas time. We were watching the classic “Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer” as a family and eating popcorn…and my tooth came out while I was munching on popcorn!
Kristy Sweet
This kit looks adorable.
I remember loosing my first tooth. My grandmother coaxed me into letting her tie floss around it, then she yanked and it flew across the room. She’s always been a prankster, but I didn’t find it very amusing.
I remember the thrill of loosing teeth. I literally didn’t have my two front teeth from christmas. Now I count as my daughters teeth come in with joy and sleeplessness.
I hated loosing teeth as a child! The blood and wiggly tooth grossed me out! I think this kit would be a fun way of loosing teeth for my daugther! Very neat!!
The kit looks adorable.
I was honestly scared to death about having a “fairy” coming into my room and leave money. I insisted that the tooth be left on our porch and I would collect my money that way!
When I lost my first tooth, I was really freaked out about the tooth fairy coming. I remember having a HORRIBLE nightmare of a giant T-Rex chasing me atop trees. After that I was scared to loose teeth because I was scared I would get more nightmares.
oh…i hated loosing teeth! i was so chicken!! my daughter is only 3 and far from loosing teeth, but i cringe the day…daddy will have to do the tooth-pulling!
My son’s lost baby tooth got stuck inside a bubble type space helmet of a ghostbuster figure. It was a challenge to get it out! Another time one fell out at the park and he couldn’t locate it, but luckily I had saved a previous spare…I told him maybe it got caught in his undershirt etc. and when he undressed we magically found the replacement on the carpet in his room. I remember my tooth being tied to a string and the doorknob and a parent opens the door and out comes the tooth! That was the old fashioned way…back in the day.
Good-bye, gotta fly since
I am the Toothfairy and work with the Dentist too.

Such a neat idea..
When my son lost his first tooth, he lost the 2nd one that same day..We were at Dollywood eating lunch and the first one popped out when he was eating a hot dog, and by the time we got back to the hotel, another one was barely hanging in there, so we helped him pull it!!
What a great idea! My kids haven’t lost their teeth yet…but my oldest is getting close. we’ve been talking about what to do for the Tooth Fairy…this seems like a great idea!!
I remember my parents trying to be sneaky and put money under our pillow when we slept…but then when we figured it out, we would pretend to sleep to catch them in the act!
Jessica, this is precious! As a child I remember getting so excited when I had a loose tooth. My mom would make me put my tooth in a cup of water on my nightstand. When I woke up the next morning, the tooth would be gone and the water would be blue. I got $1-$5 for most teeth, but a whopping $10 for the 2 front ones. Thanks for allowing me to share this memory with you! Have a great week.

I love this kit! Thanks for having such great giveways!
I remember telling my dad that I had a loose tooth and him helping me pull it out with some string and the door! It happens so fast that way you don’t have time to feel it!
Thanks again!
my kids have not lost any teeth, still working on getting them all!!
Thanks!!

This kit is too cute. I am trying so hard to keep up with the teeth that are coming in on Anna that it’s hard to imagine them falling out. What a wonderful way to document such an important event!
This is ADORABLE!
At the risk of horrifying the masses, here is my favorite tooth story:
I was probably around 7 years old and had a high profile loose tooth that refused to just fall out. My Dad had built this absolutely incredible train table with a huge railroad in our playroom, and there were working engines powered by electric controllers. Can you imagine where this is going? One day my Mom had to run some errands and left my Dad in charge. He offered to help with my tooth, and I said ok. As my Mom tells it, she walked in JUST IN TIME to see me sitting on a stool next to the train set, my Dad at the controls, and my tooth tied to the engine of the train with some floss.
My Mom put a stop to the whole production, and instead he tied my tooth to a doorknob and slammed the door. My tooth popped right out, but you know I’m sitting here wondering how that was any better than letting my Dad drive the train off with my tooth? 😉
I remember when I was younger and I had a loose tooth that would not come out my dad tied a string around my tooth and then a string around a door knob. Then he slammed the door shut and out came my tooth.
This is such a fun give away. My most memorable tooth-loss experience was when I lost a tooth at summer camp while eating a Rolo. I’m not sure if the tooth made it home from camp with me for the Tooth Fairy or not. 🙂
I lost my first tooth in an accident falling on the playground.
What a neat idea and way to record baby’s tooth fairy moments!
Lynn
My son just lost 2 of his lower front teeth a couple of weeks ago. The new teeth were already popping out quite abit but the milk teeth still have not fall out. So a trip to the dentist was warrent to have the milk teeth removed. Of course he got 2 dollars under his pillow for them. And just last he ask his Dad for a tooth my husband removed about a month ago. He said he want to put it under his pillow to get a dollar from the tooth fairly. We told him that the tooth fairy will know that he is cheating and will send him a warning letter and he might not get any more money for his future teeth. And he quickly gave up the idea. :>
the kit is adorable.
i remember that i lost both of my front teeth and i really did want my two front teeth for christmas!!
i had a little box that i kept them in and money would magically appear in it.
I love this.. I remember I was always scared to loose a tooth.. my grandma once tied a string to my tooth and one to the door and slammed it hehehehhe it was fast and painless. I would love to get thi for my dd who is 4. She is excited about the tooth fairy. My dd who is 13 mos is getting two more new ones sohe will have 6.. loosing and getting them they grow so fast!
I don’t have any children yet, but love reading all about how people capture their memories!! I remeber losing teeth when I was younger and putting the string around the tooth, but instead of putting the other end around the door my mom or dad would hold on to it and pull and tug. Finally, I’d just pull it out myself! I love this idea of the kit!! Thanks for sharing!!
-Stefanie
My baby, who just turned 6 on friday has not lost any teeth yet, but I am sure she will start soon! This kit would be great for her. I remember when I was little, I would not pull my own teeth. The neighbor lady, who happend to be a very close family friend would hold me on her lap and talk to me while she wiggled my tooth until she could finally pull it. She had to move to Hawaii for her husbands work & I still had some teeth left that were loose & had not come out yet. I was so worried about how I would get them out and she wrote me a letter telling me I could do it and not to worry. She was such a wonderful lady!

My daughter, aged five, has just lost a total of 3 teeth within a 3 month period. The first tooth, lost in December of 2008, was a scoundrel and did not want to come out. Lizzy, my little sweetie, coaxed it out by using her little Kleenex (which wound up a bit bloody due to her persistence). She was so excited about the tooth that she pulled out an envelope and labeled it for the “Touthe Farrey” and put it by the bed. When she woke up the next morning to see a whistle wrapped in two 1 dollar bills, she was delighted!
The second and third teeth stayed in for so long that they actually started to discolor. She would talk and they would wiggle in the wind. Even after telling her about the “Fairy Special” of 20 bucks (I know I’m crazy!) she still refused to work those stubborn suckers out of there.
Finally, the second tooth fell out all by itself one night and the third snaggle tooth was released a few days later at school. All this to say, the Tooth Fairy has been a busy little thing, depositing money quite frequently at our house!
I know it may seem kind of gross, but I just can’t part with the adorable labeled envelopes that she so lovingly prepared, so I now have three little baby teeth sitting in a drawer.
This is so cute! I have a 6,3,and a 2 yr old all girls. My six yr old lost her first tooth at 3 and has lost 6 teeth since then and has also got her permanet teeth into replace them. Everything is fine she is just growing up too fast…lol the first time she lost her tooth it was loose for a long time and she bit into her apple and out it came…lol She didn’t even cry she was just like Mommy here is my tooth.
what a great way to capture those memories 🙂
Such a fun, fun idea! My little one is still getting teeth, not losing them yet. I loved losing teeth and leaving them for the tooth fairy! Sometimes she would leave notes along with the “lost” tooth. I think she knew I was sad to really “give” her my tooth. 🙂
I’m all about saving those memories! This would be perfect! My daughter is 5, and CAN’T WAIT to lose her first tooth. She is so excited, and this would be great to keep track of the fun. Thanks for the contest!
This is too cute. Where did you find this I would love to get one. I remember loosing my tooth. It would be neat if my mom had something like that.
I remember just wiggling one of my front teeth to death until it finally fell out. I had this awesome handmade pillow that had a tiny pocket on the front so that the Tooth Fairy could find my tooth without waking me up! The next morning there would be a dollar in there. Viola!
Pick me! Pick me! I still have not found a good way to keep up with this exciting time! I hope I win!
My daughter has lost a couple teeth already and the Tooth Fairy has left her a letter each time! She loves it!
I love this kit! I have 3 children and my oldest is 7 and she has just started losing her teeth. I can remember when I was 6 I lost both of my front teeth on Christmas Eve so not only did Santa bring me gifts but the tooth fairy left me cash in my stocking.

I can’t believe how much the tooth fairy pays now!! I used to look forward to that .25/tooth…now some get as much as $5 a tooth!!! When did inflation get so high??
I would NOT let my mom pull my teeth… so I let them wiggle until they were hanging on by a thread. I once lost a tooth eating some pudding!! I swallowed the tooth and didn’t realize I’d lost it until after!! 🙂
I already left a comment ( #1), but forgot to leave a memory. I remember when I was a kid having lost a tooth and being all excited to find out what the toothfairy would bring me. I was so excited that I could hardly sleep that night (it was one of the first ones that I lost…perhaps even the first). When I woke up checking under my pillow was the very first thing that I did. To my dismay I found nothing 🙁 My parents talked me into trying it again the next night. They told me maybe the toothfairy was too busy and didn’t make it to our house that night. HA!
I remember the sweetest little tooth fair my mom had. Little pillow with little satin pocket for the tooth. Very cute!
My dad was always a big fan of putting a string around the tooth and attaching it to a door or the truck….I remember standing by the garage waiting for him to step on the pedal….I think I freaked and pulled it out before he put the pedal to the metal!! 🙂
I had a special wooden hand painted tooth fairy box that I would always put my teeth in. I was going through some old things a few years ago and there it was … with a tooth still inside!! I can’t wait for my boys to start losing and get excited about their first fairy visit!
My daughter has gotten her first two teeth and I have the bags under my eyes to show for it! I don’t have any exciting memories about the tooth fairy as a kid, that is why this kit would be great for me to create memories for Emersyn! I think everything in life should be fun and exciting, even losing teeth. 🙂 I am crossing my fingers. 🙂
What a cute prize! I don’t really remember my feelings about losing my first baby teeth, but I remember eagerly feeling the growth of my new teeth using my tongue. It’d be great fun to keep teething memories for my son. Thanks for the giveaway!
What a wonderful idea. I still have my kid’s baby teeth in a ziplock bag. Everyone is labeled with what tooth and the date, but a ziplock just doesn’t cut it. This would be perfect for the grandkids.
That is neat! My son is only 23 months so no teeth have fallen out yet! 🙂 I do remember when I was little and putting teeth under my pillow for the tooth fairy, and excitedly looking for the coin under the pillow in the morning. And I have proof in photos of the toothless grin that resulted!
Cute ! I remember losing my first tooth in 1st grade whileeating a caramel apple! Yum!

What a great idea! My weirdest memory of tooth lost is the day I found my mom’s jar of teeth in her closet! I was in high school and far past the age of the tooth fairy. I guess I just thought she tossed them after giving us our money. Boy was I wrong. She had a beautiful little pink pill box that when opened was filled with my teeth! And she had a matching blue one for my brother’s teeth. I have teased my mom about it for years…how gross! I have to admit though, now that I am a mom, I will probably have to buy a little pill box for all of Cristian’s teeth, too! I don’t think I will be able to throw them away either!
That is such a cute idea! I remember losing a tooth while waiting in the car with my mom eating a treat. It grossed me out and I was never able to eat it again! LOL. Thanks for the chance!
This looks AWESOME! If I don’t win, I plan to get one myself! My oldest just started losing his teeth (2 to date), and I don’t think we have made it as big of a deal as it should be. This should help!
When I was a kid, my mom was the ULTIMATE tooth puller! She could do it quicker than the blink of an eye! She pulled Reeves’ first tooth back in the fall, and I fear a precedent was set. When it was time for his second tooth to come out a couple of weeks ago, he waited for days until “Charcey ” could pull it! Guess I’m chopped liver! No one does it like Charcey!
When I was 5 I had a friend who was coming home from school to play at my house. I told him my tooth was getting loose, and he said to me “let me see” and proceeded to yank it out of my mouth…the hole it left bled for over a 1/2 hour! Good times:)

This is one of mt favorite stories and I know I need to scrapbook it!
When Mason lost his first tooth, he was so excited he said he was going to go to church and tell everyone he loosed a tooth. And I corrected him and said, “You lost a tooth.” And he said, “NO! I didn’t lost/ lose it, I’m going to keep up with it.”
This sounds very cool!
I love this! The kits looks great! I don’t have too many memories of myself losing teeth, but when I taught first grade the students who lost their teeth were priceless. One day when I was teaching a phonics lesson, a little boy was jerking his head all around. He looked to be trying to pull out all of his teeth. I asked him what he was doing. He said, “You don’t understand, you can get money for these.” He would have pulled everyone of them out right then for the loot. LOL
Hi Jessica,
I don’t even remember quite how I found your blog, but for the past few months I’ve checked it regularly for ideas related to scrapbooking my 17 month old daughter. I love coming here for some sort of inspiration and have even started a 365 project of my own.
When I was little, my grandma made a cross stitch pillow that on one side said “Leave your tooth, close your eyes…” and on the other side said “…and you will get a big surprise!” It hung on the doorknob of my bedroom (which was a nice little reminder for the tooth fairy on those days I lost a tooth!) I still have the pillow and will use it with my kids, but would love this kit to also use in those days to come! Thanks!
Love that kit. My wee man just sprouted two new toothies last month and is hard at work on his next two.
I don’t have a good one about losing teeth but my daughter who is 2 and a half has one. When she was 14 months, she was learning how to run. She scooted down a set of stairs and took off at a dead run on the sidewalk at the library. Sure enough, she tripped and went flying face first into the concrete. Since she always runs with a huge grin on her face, you can imagine that her teeth – those brand new top two front teeth – were the first to hit. She chipped a huge bit out of one of them and bled everywhere. I was devestated, sure that it was dead or damaged. But sure enough, it was fine. She just has a huge chip out of her front tooth to this day and will until she loses her baby teeth.
Of course, now I think it’s cute…
Cute kit! My oldest son just lost his first tooth on Friday 🙂 And on Saturday we had to take my other son to emergency with that same tooth stuck in his ear!! True story 😉 We need something like this to keep all their cute teeth preserved, and out of other little boys ears, lol!!
I remember so clearly losing my first tooth at my grandmother’s house! I was in first grade. What a cute kit, I didn’t even know they had anything like this. 🙂

This is super cute! I don’t have children yet, but I would definitely put this away for when I do!
My tooth memory is when I was in first grade…I had a loose tooth. After eating a nutty buddy at snack time – my tooth was gone! I must have swallowed it! Luckily, the tooth fairy still came!!

I think this is great!
I remember when I was a child “pretending” to believe in the tooth fairy for money. Once I lost a tooth, I would pretend to fall asleep, waiting to see the tooth fairy, to my dismay I saw my mother instead! I guess, I still believed to get that extra quarter!
Have a blessed week,
Jenna
What a great kit. I remember being about 5 or 6 and in first grade at school with my first loose tooth. I told the teacher and she said “Can I have a look”, so I showed her and the next thing I knew she touched it and it had fallen out. I guess little kids playing with loose teeth annoyed her!!
In the midst of loosing teeth in elementary school I actually ate one of them. I was partaking in a rice crispy treat and amongst the crunch did not know the difference until after my treat had been completely demolished.
My daughter has 6 teeth now. I just love them. Her little toothy grin just gets me every time.
I remember swallowing my tooth one night; Somehow that sneaky tooth fairy still managed to find me! I always loved this tradition! I look forward to sharing it with my kids.
I love this!!! I remember when my 2nd or 3rd tooth was loose, my sister and I saw on the commerical how you would tie a string to your loose tooth and on the other end you would tie it to the door and slam it. Hahaha I wanted this tooth out so bad I thought why not try this, but as soon as I put myself in this position to attempt this, I freaked out! I stood a little closer to the door so that the string would bend 🙂
Such a cute kit! I remember being terrified about losing a tooth but so excited to see what the tooth fairy would leave. My mom and dad had a tooth fairy pillow that myself and three other siblings used everytime we lost a tooth. It had the cutest little pocket to put our tooth in. Great memories!I would love to give this to my sister who has a little boy who is two weeks old who will be having lose teeth before we know it 🙂
I don’t have a great tooth story, but I remember that I always wrote notes to the tooth fairy, telling her all the great things I hoped to buy with the money she left…as though she was going to give me $50 or something. And she left me $1.00 every time!
How cute! I am pregnant and already thinking ahead.
I remember when I lost my first tooth. I was alone with my grandpa for some reason and we were watching t.v. together. I still remember laying upside down on this big, comfy chair he and my grandma had. I twisted that tooth like mad and eventually it came out (with plenty of blood). I don’t know who was more surprised when it came out – me or him!
On a different note. I simply adore your photography. I have a simple point and shoot digital camera and I am doing some research to buy a digital SLR. Any recommendations? Do I need additional lenses at first or will the standard be enough? Any help is much appreciated!
Sarah
I teach second grade, so I have a student loose a tooth at least once a week. Sometimes we have 2 or more in one day. It’s so fun b/c they are so excited and are still into the tooth fairy visiting. My 11 month old is getting her first round of molars and it’s so hard to watch. I predict it will be just as hard to watch the teeth fall out. Just another sign she is growing up so fast.
This is so cute – I saw it on Ali Edwards awhile back and fell in love with it then. My son just turned 1 but when he does lose his teeth I want this!
you know i love it! )
The kit is a great idea!! thanks for having a giveaway!

Hi great kit. I would love to have this for my grandduaghter,
I would love to win this for my 4 year old son, as he will be losing teeth all too soon. I found my first tooth in a white envelope labeled “Sarah’s first tooth” in my dad’s desk 3 months ago when we cleaned his house after he died. Of course i just broke down. I am very sentimental, just like my Daddy.

I love this!!!
Our tooth fairy always leaves behind golden fairy dust (gold glitter) and magical golden coins (gold dollars).
Thank you!
My most vivid memory of losing one of my own teeth was eating a piece of Now & Later candy when I was a much smaller. I bit into it and my tooth popped right out. Anytime I had a tooth loose after that, I would try to recreate that, but it never worked again.
Hi! I’m running a “Toothy Kid Photo Contest.” I hope you’ll decide to enter. You might win a copy of my children’s picture book!! Deadline: April 15.
