A Few Prayers Needed
I wanted to share a few prayer requests.
- Elias goes in to have tubes put in tomorrow at 6 am. The procedure takes about 5 minutes, but we have to be there more than an hour early for check in and prep. He can’t eat or drink anything after midnight and then not until noon. We are NOT going to have a happy baby. Please pray for steady hands for the doctor, that the tubes are effective for Elias and that he doesn’t get too fussy without food.
- Sara (“Gitz”), a friend and long-time blog reader, has been really sick. Please click here to read her latest update and leave an encouraging comment. I know it will mean a lot to her. But more importantly, pray for mercy and relief from her constant prayer.
- Kate McRae is a little girl who has a malignant tumor in her brain and is fighting an incredible battle.
With so much prayer needed for so many, I can only find comfort in the words “Be still, and know that I am God.”

Praying for Elias surgery.. My daughter has had 4 sets of tubes.. Just pick him up right out of bed in the morning in his pjs..and you might be surprised at how well he does.. My daughter got her first set the day after her first birthday. But I had a bottle of milk and juice ready for right after the surgery and she drank them both! She also started walking the next day…

If you don't mind I would love to ask for you to pray for Baby Brennen, he has a congenital heart defect and had heart surgery this morning. It has been a long road for him so far, he is only 5 months old, and he has a LONG recovery ahead of him. We will not know until tomorrow if the surgery was a complete success so please PRAY fo Brennen, our family needs all the prayers we can get. THANK YOU!!!!!

My sister and I both got tubes in our ears when we were pretty young. It's great that Elias is getting them now rather than have lots of ear infections later on. Such a minor procedure so I know he'll do really well.
I will definitely say a pray for him (and for you, because even though it's minor I know as his mom it has to be hard on you).

My nephew has had several sets of tubes, so I know what you are going through. They are a good thing though.
Just saw about Elias's tubes. He will be fine. I wish I had known last night … I had 3 sets as a child and my 6 year old is on her 2nd set.
Other than the anethesia, he should be fine. Parker was always very aggitated by it.
I will be remembering Elias in prayer. That can be such a scary thing!

Please pray for safe travels on the 28th and 29th and that God's light would shine though me so brightly that there would be no mistaking him.
