Giveaway Thursday: Child to Cherish Handprint Tower
Elias turned one this past Sunday – can you believe it? I can’t. It is amazing how much he has grown in the past year. I am in love with today’s giveaway because it is such a sweet keepsake.
The tower of time handprint kit from Child to Cherish allows you to cast your child’s handprint for the first five years of their life. Each tin gets progressively bigger to accommodate your child’s growth.
You totally do NOT have to be crafty to do this project. It is so easy. You simply follow the directions (mixing water with the plaster paris), pour it into the tin and then press your child’s hand into the mix. It took about six times of putting Elias’s hand in, him grabbing the mixture and ruining the impression, shaking the tin to smooth it out ad trying again. Finally though we got the perfect impression. I love that they include ribbon to add to the print. I think it really adds a lot.
I have one Tower of Time Handprint Kit to giveaway. You know the drill – leave a comment and be sure to include your email address (if it isn’t in your profile) so I can contact you if you win.

Wow this is an awesome way to make a memory. I am a foster parent, and the baby I have will be 1 next month we have had him from birth, this would really be something nice to give to his birth mother if/when he goes back to her. She cant be here for his big moments in his first year, but at least she could be able to to have a print of his little hand.
When I became a foster parent I painted a big tree on the wall, and I let all of "my kids" put their hand print (or foot print) on it,(to make leaves) and label it with their name and age. They leave their mark on my house and I have a way to remember them long after they are gone.

I was hoping for an update on Elias ear surgury..hope it all went well..hugs
Hi Jessica
No need to enter me into this one but I wanted to let your readers know that I saw a fantastic handprint idea on Becky Higgins blog. You paint a small canvas a nice primary colour, then in a contrasting colour paint your child's hand and stamp it on the canvas.
The best part is you have one canvas for each year and the arrangement only looks better the older they get ( ie. the more you have).
This is so cute! What a neat idea.
I follow your blog and love to see what's going on in your life.
I'd love to win this, not for myself, but for a friend of mine. She's going through a rough patch with her husband and is giving birth in 2 months….yeah I know. Anyway, I think this would be a nice surprise for her.
