A Drawing of Elias

Several years ago, when Matthew and I went to Fellowship Bible Church, we met a girl named Kelly O’Neill, who was a fabulous artist. Every year, Fellowship has an arts festival and you can bet Kelly’s work would be hanging in the most prominent place. Her ability to draw people is amazing. Plus, her personality is so warm and humble. She is a true delight.

I shared Kelly’s brochure with two of my colleagues with children and they both immediately called Kelly. Check out what she did for them.

I am delighted that Kelly has offered to draw a portrait of Elias. After much consideration, I sent her this picture of Elias.

She sent me a mock-up of the drawing, and it took my breath away. I can’t wait to see the real thing. I am planning on having prints made for Elias’s grandparents for Christmas, which I think will be really special. I know that this is something we will treasure having forever.
