Scrapbook Yourself
My Creating Keepsakes magazine subscription expired about five months ago, and I haven’t renewed it.
A sin, I know.
I have missed it, but just have been waiting for a good promo… And honestly, I can get just as much inspiration from reading blogs like Ali’s, Stacy’s, Stephanie’s and websites like SIStv and Two Peas in a Bucket.
Well this weekend I got to catch-up on what I have been missing. My mother-in-law gets Creating Keepsakes, so I paged through the past few issues, read the articles, admired the great layouts, etc. One article that really struck me encouraged readers to create the following ten pages:
- 5 Random Facts About Your Life
- Record a story that always makes you laugh
- Share the three most defining moments of your life
- Describe yourself in five words
- Focus on a hidden talent
- Relate favorite memories from childhood
- Take note of your gifts
- Reveal a lifelong dream
- Complete a quick quiz
- Share a life-changing quote or phrase
I love these ideas and am going to try to create some of them in the next couple months. Since having Elias I haven’t created many layouts about me. I used to make these a lot… like this one.
If you are a scrapbooker, do you scrapbook about yourself? What are your favorite layouts?
