Scrapbooking for a Cause
Can you believe it – I am blogging about scrapbooking two days in a row! 🙂 I can’t help myself. I am so excited. Scrapbook-101 is hosting an event called charity: extravaganza to benefit the clean water project, and they asked me to create one of the challenges.
Here is a sneak peak at my layout. Matthew is usually my biggest critic and he said it is one of his favorite layouts I have made in a while.
The event kicks off Friday night and goes all weekend long. For more details, click here, then click on charity: extravaganza. They have a ton of awesome scrapbookers and amazing prizes, so if you have needed something to jumpstart your mojo, this may be the perfect way to do it. I have shared many times that scrapbooking challenges inspire me to think outside the box and create great layouts. I would love to see some of you participating – plus it goes to support a great cause. I am definitely going to try to participate as much as possible. I am behind on my every day scrapbooking and after creating the challenge this weekend, I am itching to scrapbook some more.
Also, I just got an email from Big Picture Scrapbooking and they are celebrating their 4th birthday! Happy birthday Big Picture! All self-paced classes, including my class, Don’t Blink: Scrapbooking Your Baby’s First Year, are 40% off with the code, happybirthday. The code expires Nov. 15!
Happy Scrapbooking!
