A Quickie

We are having a great visit in Wisconsin with my family. I have taken a couple hundred pictures, but haven’t had the time to download them yet. However, I will share one though from Christmas eve that just melts my heart. He hated his clip on tie, but loved the jacket. He is just like his daddy.

I haven’t gotten as much reading done as I thought I would (since we ended up flying instead of driving, but I devoured Same Kind of Different As Me in just two days. It was even more amazing than Angie said it was. I can’t wait to discuss it with the Bloom girls. I hope you are going to join us in reading it. Today I am going to start The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.

We fly home to Nashville tomorrow morning and I have to go straight to the office. I work tomorrow and Wednesday and then am off for the New Year’s holiday. I am looking forward to a four-day weekend. My big goal is to finish my 2009 Project 365. (I don’t want to start 2010 behind, you know?) It is going to be a lot of work, but I know I will be happy I did it.

Anyone else going to try to finish strong?
