The Boys are Alone

Greetings from Alburquerque! I am traveling for work four out of the next five weeks, so the boys are going to be spending a lot of time together.

I am so thankful that Matthew is such a good dad. He is consistent with Elias. He reads book after book to him. He loves to hold him (Elias especially loves sitting in Daddy’s lap while he is working on his laptop). He loves being a dad. He and Elias are best friends. Most importantly, he adores Elias.

All of these things, make it easier to leave Elias.

Oh, and videos like these help too. (Be sure to let it load on YouTube. It is worth the wait. Elias is HILARIOUS. The “Oh NOs” kill me.
