Project Life Tuesday
Welcome to Project Life Tuesday! If you are new to The Mom Creative, each Tuesday, I share my pictures from my Project Life album – a photo a day for all of 2010, and readers are invited to link to their blog posts that share their photos. My only requests are a) that you link back to The Mom Creative or post the Project Life Tuesday button on your blog/in your post and b) that you link your actual Project Life Tuesday post in the Linky Tools widget – not your blog homepage.
Note: Something wonky happened to my Project Life Tuesday button code, so please be sure to use the new code that is in the column on the far right! Thanks to Sara for fixing it.
Sunday, June 6: Alyson and I hadn’t hung out in several weeks, so she came over today. We cooked, talked and took Elias swimming. He had so much fun with “Ally”!
Monday, June 7: Today we had book club at Amy’s instead of Julie’s. It was fun to see the girls again and Alyson and I lead this week’s discussion of Prodigal God.
Tuesday, June 8: Elias was so funny leaving day care today. He pulled his lunch box out of his cubby and insisted on carrying it to the car. He would not let me. Just another sign of him getting older! (this photo appears “half size” because it is cropped on a 6×4 sheet to go in one of the small pockets of the project life kit, since I took it with my cell phone)
Wednesday, June 9: We have been fighting summer colds all week. Since Matthew and I both have sore throats, we assume Elias does too. I figured we both could use a little sherbet last night. He LOVED it.
Thursday, June 10: Tonight Mandy, her MIL Brenda and I went to CMA fest. It was sold out – 60,000 people at LP Field. We had a blast seeing Danny Gokey, Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, and Lady Antebellum. The show went REALLY late, so we missed Carrie Underwood, but still had an awesome time.
Friday, June 11: Yesterday and today were water day at day care. I went today to take a few pictures. Elias had a BLAST in the pools and sprinklers! I loved that they had the turtle sandboxes filled with water. I had the same sandbox 20 years ago. Here he is with his friends Sarah and Grayson.
Saturday, June 12: We took Elias to the park to shoot some photos for his birthday card invite today. Most of them turned out like this – with him not looking at the camera! (Check back Thursday to see the winning shot)
Your turn!
