It’s Hard to Leave
It’s time to leave Hilton Head in a few hours.
I don’t want to go.
Yesterday was another great day. We went on a two-hour boat ride and saw dolphins (which was amazing), enjoyed yummy food (Signe’s Heaven Bound Bakery and the Aqua Grille and Lounge – delicious), road bikes on the beach (again) and most importantly, spent quality time together.
As I suspected – the community was sweet.
In fact, it was sweeter than I even anticipated.
As Annie, Mary and I pull away from our beach house, we will be leaving dear, dear friends.
Friends who have made a difference in our lives.
Friends with God-sized dreams who dream that way for themselves, for us, and for (in)courage.
Friends who demonstrate a Christianity that is passionate and true.
To Lisa, Robin, Jen, Annie, Arianne, Dawn, Nester, Emily, Stephanie, Holley, and Sarah – thank you for touching my life. You are each gifts. I love you all and I am so thankful for the blessing of your friendships.
Disclosure:: Hilton Head Island Chamber of Commerce generously provided the accommodations at the amazing beach house, bikes, an ocean cruise, and dinner at The Aqua Grille & Lounge. DaySpring took care of all the incidentals and meals for each of the bloggers.
