Saving Starfish on the Beach

We have had a great first day at Hilton Head at our (in)courage beach retreat.

This island is amazing. Matthew, Elias and I are definitely going to have to vacation here.

Today we enjoyed the laying on beach, being in the water, lounging at the pool, and riding bikes on the beach!! I haven’t been bike riding in probably ten years – and it was so very fun. It felt very Anne of Green Gables.

We’ve laughed, shared stories and become closer friends. It’s already been wonderful – and we still have tonight, tomorrow and Sunday!

One of my favorite memories from today was “saving” starfish that we found on the beach.
