Sunday, October 10: I was cooking dinner tonight and Elias wanted me to hold him. Since I couldn’t, I plopped him up on the counter, where he happily sat banging measuring cups. I love moments like that.

Monday, October 11: Elias loves playing with Alphie. I think it is so cool that Melissa had this toy when we were growing up. (This photo was not taken on Monday, but I am using it as a filler since he plays with Alphie every day. Using fillers is OKAY!)

Tuesday, October 12: Elias looking in his bag for his chinchillas killed me. SO hilarious.

Wednesday, October 13: Lovell won seven gold pen awards. My Strength for Service Direct Mail campaign received a gold and a perfect score!

Thursday, October 14: A “fire truck” came to Elias’s school to give them rides. Elias LOVED it and kept telling us fire trucks are RED.

Friday, October 15: Elias’s school was closed today, so he and Matthew had a fun day together. Matthew got some great shots of him. (Read this amazing parenting post from Matthew)

Saturday, October 16: Elias and I met Melissa and Jack at the pumpkin farm today. They had so much fun together – especially riding on the tractors and playing in the corn. It was great to spend time with them.
