Project Life Tuesday
Welcome to Project Life Tuesday 2011! If you are new to The Mom Creative, welcome. I hope you will stay awhile. I’m Jessica: wife to Matthew, mom to Elias, a delicious 3-year-old, and baby Adeline, a marketing professional, savvy deal finder, photo lover and memory keeper trying to juggle it all.
I started Project Life Tuesday in 2010 because:
- I needed to keep myself accountable and on top of my photos each week.
- My family loved being able to count on a weekly post with pics of my sweet Elias.
- I thought others might want to keep themselves accountable too.
It was a huge blessing and so I am excited to do it all over again!
Each Tuesday, I do my best to post my pictures/journaling from the previous week, as well as host a linky for readers to link up their pictures. Please be sure to include the Project Life Tuesday button in your post.
Sunday, August 28: Oh my word. I walked into Elias’s room after he had been asleep about an hour and this is what I found. Of course, I went and got my camera, which resulted in that sleepy look.
Monday, August 29: Adeline’s first day of school! I love, love, love her teachers Brenda (who had Elias) and Megan.
Tuesday, August 30: Sleepy girl and curious girl. Love her expressions!
Wednesday, August 31: I worked from home on Wednesday, and this is what was at my feet most of the day.
Elias also tried doing the potty thing at school this week (It was a big #fail. He’s just not ready). When he came home, Daddy said he could have a pop tart. 🙂
Thursday, September 1: Pictures of naked babies before bathtime?! Yes, please.
Friday, September 2: Trying on some new headbands. 🙂
Saturday, September 3: Elias loves holding Adeline on the boppy (like Mommy). He also loves to tickle her. I love her face.
Your turn!
My son was 3 when he potty trained (finally) … He was (is) so smart – I couldn’t imagine what was taking him so long. But, it was all in his own time. Don’t get discouraged or let people tell you a million things to try. You know Elias better than anyone – just let him be until he’s ready.
I recently potty trained my daughter and the first day was very hard. I can’t imagine a whole week, I’m sorry it’s still so hard. You’re his momma and you know when he’s ready so don’t feel any pressure. 🙂
He’s back in diapers. 🙂 It just isn’t quite time.
No picture with Sunday, August 28: Oh my word. I walked into Elias’s room after he had been asleep about an hour and this is what I found. Of course, I went and got my camera, which resulted in that sleepy look
I decided for privacy/protection to remove it.
That “curious” look makes the most darling baby photo that I’ve ever seen. It tells such a story & is a glimpse into the artful expressions your little one will make as she grows up!
Cheers!
