Project Life Tuesday
Happy Tuesday! Is it really possible we only have a few weeks left of Project Life 2011? I had good intentions of taking Project Life with me to Maryland where we spent Thanksgiving, but our suitcases were 50 and 48 pounds, so needless to say, I couldn’t squeeze another thing in!
We got home late Sunday night and last night was spent trimming our new thin Christmas tree, which I think was way more fun that writing months of journaling cards. Most of our Christmas decorations are in storage and inaccessible, but a few boxes of ornaments were right near the front. Elias was so excited to put them on the tree in the living room and the little one in his room. A lot of our ornaments are ones from my childhood and it was so fun to see Elias get excited about ornaments I received in the 80s and 90s – like Pinocchio, Beauty and the Beast, etc.
He also loved showing the ornaments to Adeline (check out his hand in the above picture).
Now that the tree is trimmed, I have everything ready to go to be a writing bandit this week. Expect to see a bunch of completed spreads next week.
Are you like me? Did Thanksgiving throw a wrench in your Operation Project Life plans or did the time off mean lots of album work for you?
Link up here and share your photos/progress.
Not as much project life (or any type of scrapbooking) as I had hoped even though I was off work all week!
I too ended up taking the week off. But I still want to catch up. Maybe I can get the finishing touches on the Christmas decorations this morning and then spend some time on it this afternoon. We’ll see!!
My tree at my mom’s house gets all my older disney ornaments and hallmark ornaments from the 80s and 90s. Brings back so much good memories of childhood. Can’t wait for my 2 year old to see them this year and be amazed that Mommy liked princesses too!
Jessica, I just love your blog. I have written to you before! I have a granddaughter who will be 4 months in a week. The little seat that Adeline is sitting on what is that called and at what age can you put them in it?? Also what video camera do you reccommend?? I remember you getting one a while ago I just can’t remember what it was!! I have a grandson who is 3 and has so much joy like Elias…any ideas for Christmas presents for him??
Thank you for the time that you spend to help a Grandma like me out!!
God bless…have you read Plan B? I loved it!!! Oh yes, any ideas for a 4 month old little baby girl??
Adeline’s seat is a Bumbo – we started using it at close to 4 months for her. We have a sony video camera, but often use our iphones. 🙂 Elias wants robots, cars and superheroes for Christmas.
I’m just getting to know you – or the online you 🙂 but how cute are your kids? Is it bad that I love hearing that I’m not the only one still confident I will (somehow) manage to complete Project Life 2011?!
No, it isn’t bad at all. 🙂
Jessica,
You are an amazing writer. I knew you were a special young lady when you attended our church in Madison…. but you sure are being used wonderfully to thousands of women. I just love it. I will keep you daily in my prayers. Thanks for your kindness to Kristen.
I love Kristen.
Love that picture of Elias and Adeline! I am making way through my project life album. I have started journaling and have caught up to August, but started to journal the past few weeks as well, because they are fresh! I am hoping to make a big dent in my album and get all of my pictures printed very soon! Can’t wait to get it all caught up! We can do it I know we can:)
Yes we can! (cue Bob the Builder)
Hey Jessica! Do you have any idea if there is a way to buy the whole Project Life kit (binder, cards, photo pages) all together for 2012? I know I bought it as a whole set at once last year, but this year I can only find the individual items!
No, you have to buy the items individually.
