Motherhood Monday: That Works for Me!

I hope that y’all had a fabulous Easter weekend. We sure did. We did an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, church on Sunday and then friends came over for a yummy dinner last night.
I’m looking forward to some normalcy this week – can I get an amen? Between spring break last week and then the hoopla of Easter, it has been a busy week.
I plan to get caught up on Project Life (I’m still running one week behind), do some laundry and read my friend Kristen Welch’s new ebook – That Works for Me!
You might be familiar with Kristen’s popular Works for Me Wednesday posts on her blog, We Are That Family. Each week hundreds of people link up great tips of what works for them – recipes, cleaning tips, organizational hints, gift ideas and so much more. Well, she put together That Works for Me as an extension of this series. The book has more than 800 categorized tips, organized into 24 categories with more than 300 contributing bloggers.
I’m thinking this is going to be better than my monthly Real Simple. I briefly scanned through the beginning of the almost 200-page e-book before heading to work and was blown away by the number of categories including:
- baby
- blogging
- craft
- cleaning
- frugal
- decor
- recipes
- parenting
- organization
- beauty
- holiday
- marriage
- and more!
I love, love, love tips and tricks for making life simpler (what mom doesn’t) and know that I am going to put this book to great use.
Moreover, you know that I love a sale, so I was thrilled that for today only, you can get That Works for Me! for just $5 (interactive PDF version). (No coupon code needed!).
A portion of this book’s proceeds go to supporting The Mercy House, so I can’t think of a better way to spend $5 – get 800 tips to make your life simpler AND help women in need in Africa.
Amazing.
Go buy That Works for Me today and take advantage of that $5 price! You will be so glad you did.
