  1. Love it! Sent the link to my sister who’s been busy planning a Popeye party for her one year old- some great ideas I know will inspire her.

  2. So cute! I’m pinning it just in case I ever give a boy birthday party! (And how sexist of me to say that–girls can love superheroes too! Kate went through a big Superman phase last year after her grandparents brought her a Superman shirt from Metropolis, Illinois, where Matt’s grandparents live, and she wanted to watch old Christopher Reeve videos on YouTube every night!)

There’s also adhesive-backed felt available at craft stores, if someone didn’t have a Xyron!

  3. Great job!! i love your decoration for the party. I always plan to prepare the party “all by myself” but at the last min change my mind and order some professional staff 🙂
maybe will try it this year!

  4. What an adorable party! I can’t wait to see your tutorial for the WW onesie! My son is superman for Halloween so am planning on making my daughter a superhero too. 🙂 Very cute party!!

  5. I absolutely love this! I am looking up ideas for my sons 5th birthday. I already planned to make capes but now I have even more ideas. If you have the comic book bunting, and are willing to sell it, I would love to buy it. Or if you could email me directions and I could try and make one myself. Thank you for the wonderful ideas!

  6. Thanks for the. Great. Ideas, we are having my sons Avengers party at the park, love the easy decorations, your capes turned out great. I used budget. Fabric from Walmart it was 1.00 a yard. It is shiney black, I cut them half a yard. Long and cut a hole at he top With. A slit, and a. Little off the sides (If you pull on the cape hard enough it will rip so I don’t have any worries) and we are going to decorate with paint markers. They are all no sew.

  7. Hi. I noticed your blog title, “Superhero Birthday Party — The Mom Creative” doesn’t really reflect the content of your web page. When creating your website title, do you believe it’s most beneficial to write
it for SEO or for your readers? This is one thing I’ve been battling with simply because I want great rankings but at the same time I want the best quality for my visitors.

  8. Thanks for your marvelous posting! I actually enjoyed reading it, you may be a great author.
I will be sure to bookmark your blog and definitely will come
back in the future. I want to encourage you to definitely continue your great writing, have a nice weekend!

  9. Such a cute, cute party!! I love all of your ideas and wish I had seen this sooner! We did a super hero party for my son’s 4th birthday and did a “Create Your Own Superhero” activity craft from Etsy as part of the fun. The kids and adults loved it and were happy to take them home as favors 🙂
