Project Life Tuesday- Week 33
Each Tuesday, I share my most recent spread as well as host a linky for readers to link up their pictures/layouts. This year, Epson is sponsoring Project Life Tuesday, and they provided me with their Epson Stylus R2880 Large Format Photo Printer (C11CA16201)
Well I followed my advice last week and spent a good chunk of time working on catching up. I edited and printed three weeks of photos (the rest of August) slipped them all in page protectors, added journaling cards to all three weeks and completed one week (shown below). I am hoping to carve time this week/weekend to do the journaling cards for the other two weeks and begin processing September.
For August 12-18, I used a Design A and Design F with a Design J in the center. Design J has recently been a favorite insert for me. I find myself reaching for it a lot.
For the first page, I love the little bird photo I added to the date card. I also used a variety of journaling stickers + instagrams on this page.
Here is the front side of the Design J page, which was dedicated to Elias’s first fishing trip. I love that I fit 7 photos in the insert, plus a journaling card. So easy!
Here you can see the back side of Design J + Design F. Again, I kept things very simple – just items from the kit + journaling stickers. I love Project Life!

Also, I love that you use so many photos – I do the same and often have more than will fit. I sometimes feel bad looking at other peoples’ gorgeous layouts about mine not being “crafty enough”.
In 20 years no one is going to be looking at anyone’s album by yours! 🙂 Comparison will only steal joy from this project.

I love your fishing insert, my daughter went over the summer with my Dad for the first time and she had so much fun. I dedicated an insert to this special outting. I linked up three weeks this time. I recently had some time to go back and photograph/blog some weeks from the summer. I was able to keep up with working on my pages for the most part but with so much going on I gave myself permission to slack on sharing them online. Glad to be back up and running and joining you for PL Tuesday again!
PS: I noted your reply to ARC in the last comment before mine, great encouragment. I think all of us who share online in forums/blogs etc need to hear that more often. Like I mentioned above, I’m catching up with posting and wasn’t sure if I would bother because sometimes it seems like what everyone else is doing is better/cooler etc than mine. But last week my six year old was looking over my pages and exclaiming about this and that and kept telling me how great it was and how much she loved it. Nice reality check that my family and I are who I really am doing PL for 🙂
YES! I loved her words of encouragement too. There is nothing better than watching my 3yo look through the album over and over again, remembering all that we’ve done this year. Even my husband pointed out that it reminds him of things he’d ordinarily have forgotten!

Love the amount of photos you put into a weeks pages, that seems very similar to me 🙂 Always have a bunch to include. The moving walkway picture really attracted my attention, It felt so real seeing how Elias held onto the pram , things you’d forget in the future so it’s nice to capture a slice of right now.
