Target Deals – Christmas, Rubbermaid and More
If you follow The Mom Creative on Facebook, you know that this month is an awesome month for deals at Target.
Christmas went 90% off this weekend (there may or may not be anything left at your store today) and many toys are currently marked down 50% off (they will likely be 70% off on Thursday).
Target coupons also reset at the beginning of the month, including a couple good ones for Rubbermaid TakeAlongs and Easy Find Lids. Now is a great time to buy Rubbermaid because you can use them for transporting food to football parties, etc. + get organized for the new year.
I stocked up on some Christmas clearance + Rubbermaids last time I went to Target.
On Saturday, we went to our friends’ Leila and Al’s house to have dinner, watch football (go Packers!) and enjoy community together.
Leila is expecting baby #4, so I said I would bring yummy bread and salad for the chicken cacciatore pasta dinner she planned to make+ dessert. I printed the coupons from Target’s website and picked up some Easy Find Lids at Target to transport everything.
I have two sets of the square Easy Find Lids and we use them every day in our kitchen, so I was happy the coupons were available to get some bigger ones too. (Bonus, you can stack the Target coupon + this Rubbermaid coupon to save even more.)
I made an italian salad in the long horizontal Rubbermaid and put these peppermint patty brownies in the smaller large container. Both made for easy transport and serving.
Sometimes I can get hung-up on presentation and serving in the perfect dishes, but honestly, Rubbermaids make it easy – and friends don’t care about things like the perfect bowls, you know? 🙂
When I got to Leila’s house, we giggled because she had a square Easy Lids sitting on the table with carrots and cucumbers cut for easy kid snacking. She said “those are my favorite Rubbermaids!”
