  1. We are gathering strays from all over Nashville and doing a hang at our house. Everyone is bringing something to contribute food and drink and wise. Everyone is wearing jeans. Probably.

My kids are teens but still like to color eggs and definitely still like Easter baskets.

I am open to any and all suggestions on what to put into an Easter basket for a 15 year old girl and a 13 year old boy that won’t cost me $100 bucks a piece.

  2. After church, my husband & I will head to my mom’s house to have Easter dinner with the family. We are trying to eat heart-healthy, low sodium so I modified our menu. Found a pre-cooked pork loin that is already sliced, just need to heat. It has 11% of daily recommended sodium as compared to ham 39%(the one I looked at, maybe not all hams have that percentage.) Green beans, steamed potatoes, & corn as sides. Fruit salad and angel food cake.

  3. As our family is in Texas, we are solo for Easter this year. We plan on going to church (Midtown – Crieve Hall) and honestly, we’ll probably go out to eat. Although, I might just have to make deviled eggs. Because that is a family holiday staple. Happy Easter to y’all!!!
