Project Life Tuesday
Welcome to Project Life Tuesday 2013 If you are new to The Mom Creative, welcome. I hope you will stay awhile. I’m Jessica – wife to Matthew, mom to Elias, a silly and spirited four-year-old, and Adeline, a spunky one-year-old. I’m also a marketing professional, savvy deal finder, photo lover and memory keeper trying to juggle it all.
Each Tuesday, I share my most recent spread as well as host a linky for readers to link up their pictures/layouts.
Unfortunately, this Tuesday, I don’t have a spread to share. As you might have seen on Facebook or Twitter, Matthew and I spoke at Killer Tribes this weekend in Atlanta. There simply were not enough hours to carve out time to work on my album. I’m not sure that this week is going to be any better because my family is coming to town Thursday for the Easter weekend, but we’ll see.
Day in the Life
It’s hard to believe another month is over and it’s time to do Day in the Life this week. I am planning on doing it on Thursday because it will be a mostly ordinary day + there will be a few photos of my family’s arrival that night. I’m sure we will be taking a lot of photos during the Easter weekend anyway, so didn’t want to add to the chaos with Day in the Life. (Here is my January and February day in the life spreads.)
For those of you new this concept, each month I am following Ali Edwards’ lead and doing a more in-depth day-in-the-life look at things for my Project Life album. For my documenting, I am using Ali’s free daily sheets + a Design J page protector. It keeps things very simple for me. (Tip: I printed 12 of the sheets so I have them ready to go each month and don’t have the scramble the day before.)
I plan to always do this sometime during the last week of the month. I’ll definitely be doing some of that documenting on Instagram. You can follow me here.
Project Life posts worth checking out
For more Day in the Life inspiration, check out Ali Edwards’ Week 9 post. She has been playing catch-up too, so be watching her blog this week for even more inspiration.
I loved Linda’s simple one-page spread. Lots to look at, all in one page. A great reminder that Project Life doesn’t have to be complicated!
And Modern Memory Keeper’s monochromatic yellow spread is such a fun idea.
I also love this Aussie’s Snap albums that she is using for her Project Life album. Anyone know if these are available in the states? Maybe fun for a mini album?
Your turn to link up! Also, just a friendly reminder to please remember to link back to The Mom Creative in your posts. Thank you!
The SNAP Binders are available in the US – they’re great. So fun and flexible. Thanks for hosting this link up each week. I love having all the inspiration in one place.
I used a SNAP album for my December daily this year. I purchased it online, but now my local store has them. They have a variety of page protectors which is fun, too.
I am planning on using the snap albums on my next quarter. I broke the months into quarters. I love the idea of smaller albums.
I order it from amazon I think 2peas my have them.
Thanks so much for mentioning me in your post & for hosting this link up!!
Just saw SNAP @ my local Micheal’s today
Hope you can find it near you
Hi!! I’m ‘that Aussie’ that you referred to. I really enjoyed the SNAP albums but have decided to go back to 12×12 for PL
The 6x8s are perfect for a mini-album, trip journal, holiday etc.
Cheers,
Sharon
