Project Life Tuesday
Welcome to Project Life Tuesday 2013 If you are new to The Mom Creative, welcome. I hope you will stay awhile. I’m Jessica – wife to Matthew, mom to Elias, a silly and spirited four-year-old, and Adeline, a spunky one-year-old. I’m also a marketing professional, savvy deal finder, photo lover and memory keeper trying to juggle it all.
Each Tuesday, I share my most recent spread as well as host a linky for readers to link up their pictures/layouts.
How is it Tuesday already? The long weekend was so good, but went SO fast. I got lots of projects done, including some from my list and many that weren’t on it!
Yesterday, I tackled my photos first thing, intending to get at least one layout done for Project Life Tuesday today. After getting a bunch edited and uploaded to Walgreens, I turned to some house projects. Instead of painting the kitchen, we decided to strip wallpaper in one of our bathrooms. (Well, I decided to strip wallpaper while Matthew did yardwork.)
Y’all it was a nightmare and took HOURS… I was so tired by 8:30 when I finally finished that the thought of even doing simple Project Life was too much.
So all I have to show you is this.
I have NOT been a role model the past couple weeks when it comes to getting my layouts done. BUT, sometimes life is like that and other things take priority. I am going to work on getting the one spread done tonight (since I promised Elias some craft room time) and then get busy on organizing and printing more photos because of this crazy Shutterfly sale.
As they have done in the past, Shutterfly is offering 101 Free Prints through today with the code 101PRINTS + shipping. In the past you have not had to order 101 prints, so I plan to upload whatever I can tonight to take advantage of this deal.
You can also combine this deal with a few other offers on Shutterfly. Receive one free greeting or stationery card with promo code CARD4U – perfect to make a Father’s Day card. Through tomorrow, you can also get 40% off Photo Books.
Project Life posts worth checking out
I thought this Project Life staycation post was a fun idea for summer.
I love how WhimsiKel kept things simple and got two weeks worth of layouts done. This is what I need to remember as I tackle my May pages.
I also really liked Monica’s pages. Simple inspiration for you digi Project Lifers. 🙂
Your turn to link up! Also, just a friendly reminder to please remember to link back to The Mom Creative in your posts. Thank you!
Thanks so much for the shout-out, Jessica! I really appreciate you hosting each week! It helps me stay (mostly) on schedule. 🙂
You bet!
I didn’t realize you don’t have to order 101 prints, I may try to take advantage of that after all:)
Thank you so much for linking to my pages…what a nice surprise!! I look forward to Project Life and seeing your posts each week. With Memorial Day, I just enjoyed a day at home with family yesterday, so I’m a little behind this week. That’s okay…the family time was so worth it!
You are welcome!
I’m new to project life and I’m not sure how to handle my layout this week. I thought I’d see how you’ve handled it before. We went away for Memorial Day weekend. My pages go from Monday through Sunday. I’m not sure if I should extend my week by a day so that I have the whole trip in one layout or include Monday in the following layout.
My weeks go Sunday – Saturday, so I often have weekend trips going into the next week. I would put Monday on the next week if it is were me.
Mine run Sunday-Saturday as well and that’s also how I handle weekend trips and celebrations.
