Project Life Tuesday: Week 34

Welcome to Project Life Tuesday 2013 If you are new to The Mom Creative, welcome. I hope you will stay awhile. I’m Jessica – wife to Matthew, mom to Elias, a silly and spirited five-year-old, and Adeline, a spunky two-year-old. I’m also a marketing professional, savvy deal finder, photo lover and memory keeper trying to juggle it all.

I’m in a bit of catch-up mode right now with Project Life. This weekend I completed Week 27 and Week 34. I’m sharing Week 34 today so you can see a few more elements from the HSN Just Add Color kit, which is a limited edition kit available exclusively on HSN right now. This kit will likely sell out, so I would snatch it up fast.

I still have to finish my journaling cards for two other weeks from the summer (the photos are in my album) and then I get started on September. The great thing about Project Life is that it is so flexible and easy. This month is one of our busiest of the year, so I am just happy to have completed SOMETHING.

Here’s what the week looks like. We didn’t take a ton of photos so things are pretty simple.

On the left page, I just used one Jade journaling card, plus some stickers to write about he photos.

Here you can see the trimmed Design B insert. I love how this turned out. SO cute. I need to do this more. I also really like the horizontal journaling card.

Here you can see the back of the trimmed insert + the last page, which is from the HSN Just Add Color kit (available now!). I love the square pockets and coordinating cards. SO fun! Most of the stickers you see are by American Crafts. I especially love the thin 12″ sticker that I cut in half and adhered to the top two photos.

Also, the end of August marked the end of my second Project Life album for the year (I do three a year – 4 months per book). In the back, I added a 6×12 Becky Higgins tall envelop page. Enclosed are a bunch of notes Matthew has written to Elias (he includes one in his lunchbox every day.)
