  1. Hi Jessica. It was great to see all your pages and hear your voice! I really like how you added extra stories of your kids, a card about each of them right now, and some of their favourites. That’s something I feel is missing in my album, but I’m going to try and add it in. Thanks for the inspiration! Fiona xoxo

  2. Love the video! Those are so fun. I really like the pages where you did all photos with the cardstock cutouts between for the journaling. I’ve been trying to catch up lately too, and my goal is to focus on the photos and keep it simple! 🙂

    1. I’m so glad. I do think videos help you get a better sense of what the album “feels” like. And yes to focusing on photos + words. No need to get crazy with embellishments!

  3. Wow, 5 weeks at once – that’s amazing. I get burned out if I work on more than 1 or 2 spreads at a time. Love the different-sized inserts. I need to do more of that – I love the look of it – reminds me of those pop-up books we read as a kid.

    1. I did the 5 weeks over the course of two weeks. When I am behind it helps me to work in bursts.

And yes, the different size inserts were really a game-changer for me. I LOVE them in my albums. They make them so fun to look at.

  4. Thank you so much for doing this link up! I found your blog about a month ago and this link up is helping to give me ideas and stay accountable with my Project Life! Love a lot of the ideas in your video today, especially just punching card stock to add journaling to a page with all photos. Thanks again!

  5. Jessica, I’ve been wondering, and maybe you’ve already addressed this before, but do you also keep traditional baby books for your kids? Or do you let Project Life just kind of be the overarching catch all? If you do keep a baby book can you recommend your favorites? Thanks so much!

    1. I don’t keep baby books for my kids, sorry! I have them for both children, but they are basically empty. 🙂

  6. Where do you have your instagram photos printed? I just got an iphone and am using instagram a lot. I had some 4×4 instagram photos printed through mpix, but wondered what you use?

    1. Hi there – for the instagrams in the video, I printed them on my home printer. That said, I often set them up on a 6×4 template so I can print them cheaply from a photo printer like Walgreens or Shutterfly.
