Project Life Tuesday: Christmas Edition
Welcome to Project Life Tuesday 2013 If you are new to The Mom Creative, welcome. I hope you will stay awhile. I’m Jessica – wife to Matthew, mom to Elias, a silly and spirited five-year-old, and Adeline, a spunky two-year-old. I’m also a marketing professional, savvy deal finder, photo lover and memory keeper trying to juggle it all.
Each Tuesday, I share my most recent spread as well as host a linky for readers to link up their pictures/layouts. Some links are affiliate links.
Today I am sharing weeks 49 & 50 – the first two weeks of December. Nearly all the products I used are from Elle’s Studio, which offers an amazing collection of holiday and winter products perfect for Project Life. Elle’s Studio graciously sent me the products to review – and you can win the complete collection by commenting on their blog today.
Since I had SO many pictures and inserts these two weeks, I’m just sharing a sampling today.
Our December started off with some fun photos that Matthew took of the kids.
I decided to print two of them off as 8x10s and then add some Elle’s Studio tags to the pictures.
This photo of Adeline kills me.
We made our first gingerbread house and celebrated Christmas with my Dad at the beginning of the month. Two journaling cards were all I needed to write about the photos.
The Elle’s Studio cards are so cute!
I added a Design G insert about the visit. I embellished a Project Life grid card using an Elle’s Studio wood snowflake. Simple and pretty.
On the other side of the Design G insert, I did a page about some snow we got in Nashville. All the journaling cards and tags are Elle’s Studio.
Opposite, I used a Design J insert for our Elf on the Shelf pictures. Each week, I plan to use a Design J insert for all our photos about our silly Elf Sam. The numbers on the photos are from Elle’s Studio and are perfect for daily December photos. (To follow our Elf adventures, check out my Instagram feed.)
Here you can see the other side of the Design J page, as well the Design H insert I added about Adeline potty training. The Elle’s Studio Right Now card was pretty darn perfect! 🙂
I love the back side of the Design H insert. I made a card with what each child wants for Christmas, as well as a photo of them in the center. Simple and easy way to document them RIGHT NOW.
I then added another Design H insert for photos from the kid’s Christmas parties and program. Again, the Elle’s Studio cards were perfect for the season!
On the back side of the insert, I used all photos from Adeline’s party. I love the colors on the Elle’s Studio tags.
On the last page, I used all photos from Elias’s Christmas program.
Hopefully these pages inspire you to add some Christmas cheer to your Project Life pages. Head over to the Elle’s Studio blog to win the entire Noel collection and be inspired by more holiday pages.
Reminder: This is the last week for Project Life Tuesday for 2013. We will start back up again in late January. I will be sure to let you know when things will kick off. 🙂

These are easily some of my favorite pages you have ever shared. So darling!!!
Know what has me bummed? I’m still stuck in late August. 🙁
Wow! Such precious Christmas memories captured! Love ALL of your pages!
Jessica,
I just wanted to say thank you. Last year at this time I subscribed to your blog and read one of your Project Life Tuesday posts for the first time. I was pregnant with my daughter and looking for a way to document pregnancy and her early days without making a major time commitment and Project Life seemed like a perfect fit. I left a comment asking for your input on whether or not I should pursue a regular weekly album in addition to a baby album, and thanks to your encouragement I took the leap. Now, 50 weeks in I have a beautiful album full of so many precious memories. I would not have that priceless treasure without you and your blog. So, thank you. Really, those words seem so small considering you gave me such a big gift. But I did want you to know that these posts matter. Thanks for encouraging all of us to be better memory keepers (and even memory makers!) Merry Christmas to you and your family!
I love your handwriting!! Good job on the layouts.

You really make me want to buy it and start doing this. I just can’t afford it. Sadface.
