Project Life Tuesday: Weeks 43-45

Welcome to Project Life Tuesday 2013 If you are new to The Mom Creative, welcome. I hope you will stay awhile. I’m Jessica – wife to Matthew, mom to Elias, a silly and spirited five-year-old, and Adeline, a spunky two-year-old. I’m also a marketing professional, savvy deal finder, photo lover and memory keeper trying to juggle it all.

Weeks 43-45 (October 20 – November 9)

When I sat down to work on Project Life this weekend, I couldn’t believe how behind I was! Matthew said to me, “I thought you were just all caught up.”

I replied, “I was!”

But the beauty of Project Life is that it doesn’t have to be complicated. The thing that takes me the longest is selecting my favorite photos and planning out my pages.

This week I completed three weeks and I hope to do the same next weekend so that I can easily get December done by the end of the year. It’s aggressive, but I think I can do it. With my book due at the end of February, I know I won’t work on Project Life much in the beginning of the year, so my goal is to have my 2013 album done before I go into deadline mode.

Rather than have 30 photos showing all the pages, I decided to make a quick video walking you through the pages. I explain a few techniques I employed in my design. Jumping in leaves, Halloween, conferences, a trip to Kidde headquarters and school pictures are just some of the events covered in these spreads – I can’t wait for you to see them. I also used a total of eight DIFFERENT page protectors, so it’s a chance to see a lot of different designs in action.
