  1. I grew up in WI. I remember a girl I went to school with that had head to toe Bucky apparel in jr. high! I wonder how much Tupperware made off those shapes toys- I think all of our moms in that era had them for us! 🙂

  2. I LOVE this series, Jessica!

You were an adorable baby! Toys can be such a sentimental part of our childhood. I wish I held on to more of mine too.

  3. Love the photo, all the memories came flooding back….Now my babies have babies and I am loving this new chapter watching my girls be mommies…Enjoy the journey !

  4. I love this link-up so much!!! I love the stories behind pictures and this is such a great idea to do for Throwback Thursday pics!!! I can’t wait to read them all.

  5. Oh no, you sold vintage Bucky? That’s so sad!!! I graduation from Madison in 1999 – best University ever!! On Wisconsin!!!!

  6. From one 80’s baby to another – I’m pretty sure that I spent a lot of time in the exact same playpen! Love the throwback Thursday idea!

  7. Love this! I’ve been trying to do this more on my blog, so it was fun to link up to you today. I tried to add the button to the bottom of my post but it wouldn’t show up. Not sure if I was doing something wrong or the code was off above. 🙂

  8. Love your post and the whole TBT concept!
I plan to write up a post and link later when I’ll be able to grab a small amount of time! Wow, what to write on…summer, Christmas, the everyday, family…love this!

    Beautiful memories…thank you for sharing!
    Have a lovey day!

  9. Hi, Jessica.

Thanks for doing this and offering the opportunity to link up.

I am having fits, however, with the cute graphic for my post on my blog. Do you have any troubleshooting ideas? Maybe it’s the theme I’m using?

    Thanks!

  10. If your heart is set on having a “Bucky Badger” like the one in the playpen, check out ebay, there are several listed there that are of the same era. I might warn you though, for a long time my brother commented to me about wishing he still had his old “Beany doll” from his childhood, circa late 1960’s. After looking and bidding on many on eBay to “surprise him for his 50th birthday”, once he saw it his first comment was, “why did you do that!”, followed by “I wish I had MY old Beany but after seeing this thing, it reminds me of Chucky!”. He refused to even take it home with him, so now it sits in my guestroom, a pricey reminder of how you can’t really bring back those days of old.
