Fringe Friday: Week 2
Welcome to Fringe Friday, an opportunity to share what you have been doing in your fringe hours during the week.
Of course, much of my week was focused on the release of The Fringe Hours. While it has definitely been a lot of hard work, it has been worth every minute! I can’t express how FUN it is to see so many people receiving their books, starting to read, be encouraged, etc. The response has blown me away.
Last night we were so tickled that it hit the top 100 on Amazon! The price dropped to $8.99, so if you haven’t picked up a copy, what are you waiting for? You can also find a list of online retailers here (and don’t forget that DaySpring has autographed copies!).
Early in the week, I read The Good Girl. And when I say read, I actually mean, couldn’t put down, read in a day and a half. I LOVED this book.
It is a thriller often compared to Gone Girl. Without question, I liked it WAY better than Gone Girl, and I really liked God Girl. I don’t want to give anything away, but the plot twists are surprising and the last page left me with my mouth hanging open. As soon as I finished it, I pre-ordered the author’s next book, Pretty Baby, which releases in July.
This year, I decided I am going to track my reading on Goodreads. Are you there? If so, let’s connect.
I also started the She Reads Truth Lent bible study. I am looking forward to an intentional season of preparing my heart for Easter.
What did you do this week just for you? Share your #FringeHours posts or Instagrams in the link-up below.
I just did my share to keep it up there. Looks like a great read!
Oh, I love it when I find a book I just can’t put down! This morning it was all about muffins, lol.
Hope it was okay to leave my link even though it wasn’t about the book. I’ve started waterproofing recently and really flourishing in that. So I made a watercolored printable about London and put it on my blog. If it’s not appropriate feel free to delete. I love the premise of fringe hours and can’t wait for my book to come in the mail!
