The First Day of School in Pictures
Last week was a big week for our kids. The two little ones started at a new day care that is closer to our home (and more affordable) and Elias started first grade.
Of course, I had to print signs from Pinterest for Elias and Adeline to hold up to document the milestone. We’ll do it again at the end of the year and marvel how they have grown.
Elias picked out the color shirt he wanted to wear and I was delighted that his belt coordinated so well. (It’s the little things, am I right?) He lost his other big front tooth on August 1, so the toothless grin is new and completely adorable to me.
Adeline LOVES this maxi dress, so it was no surprise that she picked it out for her first day. She is also loving her short hair cut that she got last month and says all the time how she is just like mommy.
We are finding our rhythm of a new routine, yet still making the most of warm summer nights and long weekend days.
I love this time of year!
Have your kids started school yet?
Mine start the second week of September but we end school pretty much the last day of June every year.
I did a similar printable for my grandson’s last day of school in June. Had it printed as a photo, then put it in a cheap ($1.88) black plastic frame from Walmart … which made it easy for him to hold. Plus I can use the frame over and over.
Thanks for the reminder that I need to download and print a First Day of 5th Grade sign.
