Fun #FringeHoursInTarget Packages + Icon Label Maker Giveaway {$197 Value}
I have had this Leitz label printer for just over two months. When I accepted the opportunity to review it, I did it with the caveat that I would only share about it if I genuinely like it. (This is always my policy, but I made a point to emphasize it with the company because I really didn’t know if I would…)
After using it for multiple projects, I can honestly say, yes, this label printer rocks. And if you are in the market for one, I think it is an awesome option. 
My first big project that I used it for was to mail my #FringeHoursinTarget packages. I sent a small group of influencers special packages to celebrate the launch of The Fringe Hours being available in Target.
(Side note: Target just bought MORE copies to ensure they will have it in stores through the holidays. If you haven’t bought a copy, please pick one up next time you are there to show them that picking up a first-time author’s book was a good move.)
Influencers get A LOT of packages, so I really wanted the boxes to stand out. The Leitz Icon helped me do that. Not only did I print all the mailing labels (more on that in a minute) — I made custom FringeHoursInTarget shipping tape. 
What was especially cool is that the Icon will print any size you request, so I was able to make the tape the exact size of the boxes I was shipping. This saved me so much time because I didn’t have to individually cut any strips of tape! So cool, right? (Adeline thought it was!) 
Now certainly, you wouldn’t want to create custom tape for every package you ever send because it could get costly, but every now and again? or for a special mailing like this? YES!
Besides printing awesome shipping tape, here are a few other reasons why I love the Icon:
Versatile printing size + no waste: I love that the Icon prints any size label and that there is no waste. Need one 3×4 label? Done. Need ten 3x1s after that? Done. No need to switch sheets of labels like you do when you make labels in Word. 
Easy: New technology can easily overwhelm me, but I was impressed with how intuitive the software was to use. It works on laptops, tablets, smartphones, etc. It also has WiFi and USB capabilities. The label cartridges are also incredibly easy to load. They simply drop in. Speed: It prints up to 200 labels a minute, so this busy mama also loves how fast it is. 
Portable: The Icon is not heavy and very portable. You could make labels while you were sitting at your child’s soccer practice if you wanted to.
The only down side is the price. It retails for $149.99, though you can currently get it for 36% off ($95) on Amazon – the lowest price I have seen! This is a bit pricier than other label makers on the market, though because of the sophisticated technology and waste reduction, the higher price point makes sense to me. That said, I definitely think it is a worthwhile investment if you have a need for a label maker.

Congratulations! I absolutely loved your book! I’ve been trying to do more in my small pockets of time even before reading your book, but it just encouraged me to keep it up. I hand piece my hexagons at gymnastics practice or read up for a class I teach at church each week. Sometimes I just read, but I get to do something for me while my daughter is doing something for herself. And I get to watch her progress at the same time.

I would label my kids so when I have a brain bubble and one of them is getting into trouble I can say their correct name the 1st time! Lol! *not true* Acually my husband is new in the ministery and my brain is popping with the possibilities. With all the new responsiblities and new normal we are trying to get acustomed to around here, it would be much quicker getting our prayer cards and all the etc sent out with a label maker like this. Instead of the sheets in the printer, “oops this whole page is off center and its all cut off” or….”uummm I did it wrong it all printed on the back this time…” or “ggaaa!!!… ok, lets take 5, I need coffee” *true stories* 🙂
